We finally made it to opening!

In typical Russ and Sarah fashion, we’re quietly emerging from the shadows - no grand celebration or ribbon-cutting ceremony. We just rolled out our signage, opened the front doors and told our family, friends, and now you here on IG.

Thank you to… All the hands that have touched this space in the past 5 months. Everyone whose books, plant babies, kitchen equipment and other everyday objects now live in this space. The Carousell sellers (including one who turned out to live in the same HDB block) who made it possible to furnish this space without buying new. And of course, every person who has supported us in one way or another along the way.

We’re excited for you to come share this space (and a meal) with us! And If you like what you see/hear/smell/taste, please spread the word to your family, friends, and even that random uncle or auntie on the street.

See you at Bricolage!

Tūtaki Haze | Garage Project
Hazy IPA | ABV 7.0%

Pours a light cloudy straw. It's a familiar aroma...sweet morning dew on a bed of oats. It's a small juice bomb, very smooth, creamy haziness, love love! I get a top of lime lemon citrus, peels and pulp all; (somewhat) a sneaky sweet honey melon note and definitely lychee. Something's sappy...not sure what it is. Herbal perhaps? Not in your face herbal, it's a calm wave of herbal hahah.

It has a lil bit of burnt rubber and asphalt aromas as this warms up. Still very pleasant, it doesn't linger, it's just so smooth.

My father's unfiltered review:
"Why do all your hazy IPAs all taste the same? Okay la nice la, at the front I get pineapple, then lychee at the back. Why you get hazy IPAs now, old already ah, don't like sours?" 🙄

Featured hops: Nelson Sauvin, Motueka & Riwaka
