SAPPY CAPTION (SAPTION) AHEAD:

A year ago today I was fired from a job I thought would change my life. I had packed up all my stuff, said goodbyes, and moved upstate to then just be sent back months later.

It was my first full time comedy job, and losing it hurt. When I got back to Brooklyn, I didn’t feel good enough anymore. I felt like I had failed hard.

But this past year has shown me that the people I get to do things with, and the communities that welcome me in, creatively or otherwise, will always be more important than any job opportunity.

As I look back on the past year, I have such an immense gratitude for my everyone in my life. The people I share the stage with, share meals with, share passing high-fives on the street with, share any time at all with. Without them, my life would just be a gig. And a gig ain’t shit at the end of the day.

Thank you everyone for making this past year of my life so meaningful. I love you all so much ❤️
