POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

soft siren of Los Angeles is releasing their debut album “4 a.m.” on Friday, Oct 23. On Thursday, October 15, tune into The Velvet Hum on DKFM Shoegaze Radio to hear my interview with them and hear all about their new release. Each member of this trio comes from other projects. Lead singer/songwriter Jacqueline Lee is from CASHFORGOLD; her husband Jake Lee is from SIDEWALKS AND SKELETONS , and the third member, multi-instrumentalist Michael Coe, is from Count the Clock. Together they’ve created a whole new sound, and I think this debut will be on many Best of 2026 lists.
The show starts at 10 p.m. EDT/7 p.m. PDT and will repeat 12 hours later. Tune in at www.decayfm.com or download the app. It will be archived in future months on Mixcloud.
In addition, I’m presenting a world premiere of the latest single by Frisbees in the Fog. This is a band from Swansea, Wales, who is preparing to release a EP entitled “A Late Night At Mozarts.” The single will be available on Bandcamp Friday, Oct. 16. Thanks to John Emslie for curating California bands!
