SAMĀ A FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND DESERT EXPERIENCE in DUBAI Location -Nujum Desert camp Saturday November 29- 30, 2025 | 3PM till late At SAMĀ we are honoring the cultural heritages of the Middle East, Africa, and the Indian subcontinent — blending timeless traditions with innovative artistry. Our mission is rooted in the belief that the wisdom of the past holds the power to guide us toward a more connected, creative, and conscious future. We create transformative experiences that serve as bridges between ancient legacies and modern expressions. As part of this vision, we intentionally weave contemporary world musicians and visionary artists into the fabric of our gatherings — creators who are crafting radical, genre-defying sounds. These collaborations with indigenous and local musicians are about co-creating new experiences that are contextually relevant, and rooted in both ancestral memory and future possibility. land is not a backdrop, but a living presence, a teacher, and a mirror. We gather to remember that we are not separate from nature. We are nature remembering itself ✨ Drumming Circles, Orishas Movement workshops, Live Concert, Immersive Sound & Live Projection Mapping, Storytelling, Wellness & Longevity, Heritage Marketplace, Artisan Nourishment, Celebration throughout the night, Overnight Camping under the stars. ✨ Preserving Heritage through Immersive Art - Music - Technology and Culture. Russian Mezzo @yanamann__, presents her new video “La noche” Feat. Dita. Directed by award-winning composer & filmaker @juliandelachica, the video explores “La noche”, as a phase in a person's spiritual life, marked by a sense of loneliness and desolation. De La Chica makes reference to Spanish mystic and poet Juan de la Cruz, as an inspiration for the construction of the visual concept. Mann offers a spectacular delivery on this track — Simon Smith wrote: ‘La Noche’ is perhaps the best example of what Yana Mann does so well. Her operatic and enchanting voice switches from deep to high registers at a moments notice. She duals her voice together to create a duet that feels primal and otherworldly – sacred almost. Video NOW available on Yana’s official YouTube channel. La noche … Full video in my YouTube channel… link in bio Yana Mann: When I discovered the music of Julian De La Chica, the first work that caught my attention on YouTube was "Präludium: (Aufruf) Gesegnete Dunkelheit", which is an ode to darkness, as a starting point in the search and inner exploration. At that time, film director Badr Farha and I, we were concretizing the idea of a video, together, inspired by an aria from the classical repertoire, where I would sing and he would have a drag performance. Today, months later, the idea of a video became my first studio album, Los poemas de Bar, and that video became the Poem No. 3 "La noche”. Julian and I worked a lot to find this particular sound, which evoked the past (in this case the baroque) and a certain contemporaneity of our current sounds. The video also explores that spatial juxtaposition and the inner anxiety about our personal searches. I traveled exclusively to Lebanon to shoot this video. There I met Badr, and a wonderful team that are part of the production of this video. My eternal thanks to all of them. Today, I am happy to share with you my new video, La noche, also directed by Julian De La Chica, and with the special participation of Dita. Dita @badrooos Producer @yazan.maarouf DP @aline.ouais BTS @ralphjmoussa Styled by me Dress by @mr.jamesharris Dress by @_theoneandonlydiva Mua @asinjustandrea @irreverencegroupmusic @wildkatpr Julian: Throughout history, many spiritual traditions have referred to "Night" as a phase in a person's spiritual life, marked by a sense of loneliness and desolation. In this video, "the night" I also explore resolution. "The night", as a source of life, that discovers our soul to offer comfort. A central, decadent state and discourse, surrounded by the current society that oppresses and laments its extermination. Veils that cover freedom and desire. Images of our mind, which recreate our eternal duality of death and life. When our only exit is the end, as the beginning, the night accompanies us to guide us on the way … @juliandelachica #yanamann #juliandelachica #dita #mezzo #duet #opera #contemporaryopera #lanoche #poemasdebar
