2. Spicy Cesar
3. Whipped ricotta
4. Garlic babka
5. Lemon cheesecake (yes, it is as good as it looks)

A secret entrance, a packed room of Hollywood power players and creators, and a celebration of entertainment’s next generation: The Ankler took over L.A.’s Bad Roman to toast our Future of Entertainment 25 honorees.
Hosted by Ankler CEO and editor-in-chief Janice Min and Whalar co-CEO Jo Cronk, the Tuesday night dinner brought together the people creating new businesses at the intersection of Hollywood, technology and the creator economy.
Among the Future of Entertainment 25 names were Dhar Mann, Unanimous Media co-founder Erick Peyton, Netflix’s Brandon Riegg and Cosm executives Jeb Terry Jr. and Alexis Scalice.
The guest list also included creators Josh Richards and Laura G; NBCUniversal’s Pearlena Igbokwe and Liz Jenkins; Banijay Americas CEO Ben Samek; Spotify’s Jordan Newman; Beast Industries’ Adam Boorstin; Spotter founder Nic Paul; Snap’s Quincy Kevan; Google’s Jonathan Zepp and Neil Parris; Made By All founder Leanne Perice; and CrossCheck Studios’ Chris Sawtelle.
In opening remarks, Min reflected on how creators are becoming studio bosses, athletes are becoming producers and platforms are expanding into entirely new kinds of entertainment. Cronk celebrated the creator economy’s growing independence, declaring, “We don’t have to ask for permission anymore when it comes to storytelling.”
The evening was presented by Whalar, part of Accenture Song.

New York City, we still have chemistry. ♥️

Four years apart, and apparently all it takes to rekindle the romance is a few good restaurants, some beautiful bars, a little culture, and an unreasonable amount of walking.

A weekend of eating, drinking, museum hopping, and admiring gorgeous interiors. Just enough culture to pretend this wasn’t mostly about eating and drinking.

NYC, you’ve still got it. Not that you needed me to tell you. 😏

A few favorite stops from the weekend.
