Valentines Day is supposed to be about love, yeah? So, if you’re not courting someone, or engaged in adult-centric bedroom activities on Valentines Day evening, you should come out to @instawaxatlas to show your love and support for my niece! You see, she has a band, @badwavebmore and they’re playing their first show! Doors are at 7, jams start at 8 and $10 gets you the rock-n-roll extravaganza! And if you see me crying, the fuck you did! I’m XtuffX and will not tolerate such accurate slander!

This weekend I got to see my dude begin his adventure into playing music with his friends in a hardcore band @badwavebmore !! I’m so proud of him and his band mates. They played their hearts out and got to experience the magic doing it live. Hearing the crowd chanting “BADWAVEBADWAVEBADWAVE” sent shivers up my spine and almost brought the tears. I’m so happy for them. It was unbelievable! Hardcore rules!

To top it off they played a Stout song and coaxed me into singing it! How many “full circle” moments can you fit into one night?! We had a blast and I was so honored to sing a song that sang along to so many times over the last 20 years.

I’m so happy they found hardcore and the community that comes with it. Even when my whole life was shit and it seemed everything around me was collapsing, I always had a place of refuge in hardcore and the friends I made in it. It has always been more than just music to me and to get to witness this world open for them is soul filling.

@el.liott2135 @imtherockwoodescapeplan @ianthebogmonster @410.ajsulli I can’t wait to see what you guys do!! I’m so proud of y’all!!!

Thank you @instawaxatlas for hosting this banger!!
Thank you @harbordiscussions for recording their set and putting it up!!
Thank you to all of my friends who came out to support and that I stole videos and pictures from!!
