Something super cool happened in 2024 where I stopped hating myself. There’s a fine line between wanting to push yourself and just beating yourself up, and all my self flagellation had been keeping me from enjoying all that I pushed myself to do. And it’s still fucking wild to me all the cool shit I got to do this year. Toured with my band, brought some of my favorite artists to the bay, supported some of my favorite bands and djs, created so much music, and pushed hard techno forward in the scene.

Also big stride for me was loving my own body. Being a bigger person, I’ve always been told to like cover up or like “no one wants to see that.” I was def the kid at the pool party with the shirt on in the pool. And like something flipped at some point I guess. Not only do I not care about how people feel about MY own body, I realized I’m a bad bitch too.

Anywho. Cheesy shit over. I had a great 2024 (except the staph infection in March 🤮)

Hi my name is snaq and I throw a party called momentum where I take my shirt off and play fast techno music that could kill a small Victorian child. My soul purpose is to make hard techno a staple in the bay, and with all of your help we’re doing it. Momentum is a movement: they told us they didn’t want our music in their clubs so we’re doing it ourself.
