Great people, great conversations, and a brand that continues to push the boundaries of creativity. Now, these are the 3 that came home with me HUMIDORA is a clean and interesting light Tobacco, cognac, rum, and leather come together with woody undertones for a sophisticated, smoky character. This one gives airy and bold. STUCK IN DUBAI is Opulent, exotic, and captivating! A luxurious blend of oud, rose, jasmine, and honey, with frankincense adding depth and mystery. This one is giving Middle Eastern elegance with a little attitude! GREENLIT – Fresh, green, and effortlessly intriguing! Rhubarb, watermelon, basil, and grapefruit deliver a vibrant freshness, while vetiver, sandalwood, and musk bring a smooth, woody foundation. A refreshing departure from the ordinary! People asked why this event is called The Garden. It’s because I think of women as different types of flowers, and when we come together, it becomes a garden. Each one needs something different, grows at her own pace, and is meant to be exactly what she is. That’s what frances marie and #BeMoreOfYou are all about. Through fragrance, frances marie wants to help you be more of who you are, not what people expect. At its core, frances marie centers Black women because we are the industry’s best customer, yet still one of its most overlooked. So I created The Garden Fragrance Discovery Event to give Black women a chance to discover scent in a world created with them at the center. I knew I couldn’t do it alone, so I invited other Black-owned brands to help bring it to life. What started as an idea, then a simple post, became something far bigger than I imagined, and I’m deeply grateful. Thank you to everyone who attended, every brand who trusted me with their products, and everyone who helped make it happen. And a special thank you to Chris + Lamar for always opening up Savoir Faire to frances marie and for being the encouragement I needed. See you again in October.
