Some projects make you feel part of something bigger... Thanks to our strategic partnership with @pen.and.paper.sci , this year we worked on the first Udzungwa Landscape Strategy (ULS) Impact Report (@uls.tanzania ), which highlights the tremendous work the ULS team has delivered in just one year to help conserve one of the most unique and important biodiversity hotspots in southern Tanzania. Together with @pen.and.paper.sci , we worked through every detail to ensure the scientific content is communicated clearly, objectively, and in an engaging way. Because impact is not only planned and implemented—it is also told. And when it is told well, it connects people and moves mountains. Many thanks to the ULS team for their trust, and to Pen&Paper Science for this wonderful collaboration 🐒 #conservation #biodiversity #sciencecommunication #storytelling #editorialdesign

✨ We’re closing 2025 with full hearts (and far too many tabs open) ✨ On this last day of the year, we want to thank all the universities, NGOs, startups and conservationists who trusted Pen&Paper Science to help #communicate their #conservation work. This year, we learnt so much: we supported incredible projects, worked together to turn #science into clear and meaningful messages, and explored new ways of communicating to different audiences. Thanks to you, we collaborated with teams across the Americas, Africa and Europe, crossed borders, and dared to try new formats — from websites and audiovisual products to training tools that help teams become increasingly independent in communicating their work. A special thank you to the amazing projects we worked with in Tanzania: to @southerntanzaniaelephant and @uls.tanzania for exploring and implementing new ways to communicate their work on the ground, and to @reforestafrica for bringing creativity to the challenges of ecological restoration. We also thank the University of Florence, Okala and the University of Concepción for their trust, enthusiasm and willingness to co-create plans and products together. We take with us successes and lessons learnt, and a collaboration network that keeps growing. Thank you for a 2025 full of shared progress. 2026 awaits us with more ideas, more challenges and even more motivation to keep communicating conservation — for #biodiversity, #nature and people 🌱

🌿✨ Gracias infinitas, Jane Goodall (1934 – 2025). 🌍💚 #JaneGoodall #WomenInScience #MujeresEnLaCiencia #Ciencia #Conservación #NatureConservation #ProtectNature #WildlifeConservation #ClimateAction #sciencecommunication

🌿 Biodiversity is the foundation of life on Earth. At @pen.and.paper.sci #worldbiodiversityday is especially meaningful to us because our greatest motivation is to help reverse the global biodiversity crisis. From the depths of forests to the flight of a pollinator, biodiversity holds the key to life on our planet. But for conservation to succeed, it must first be understood, because “we only protect what we understand”. Through #art, #design, and #science #communication, we support conservationists and researchers in sharing their work in simple, engaging, and creative ways. Because protecting life on Earth starts with a message everyone can connect with, and enjoy! We truly believe that powerful stories help protect our planet. 🌱 This #WorldBiodiversityDay, we celebrate every species, every ecosystem, and every story that brings people closer to nature. ✨ Join us in communicating your conservation work. Together, we can turn understanding into action. 📸 Photo by @jezcusack #WorldBiodiversityDay #CommunicationForConservation #ScienceCommunication #Conservation #Biodiversity #planetandpeople
