Archery hunt 2024! Got some killer bucks this year and I was lucky enough to be around for a lot of them and experience it all start to finish! Brought Raven to do some tracking for us but everyone had amazing shots so wasn’t really necessary 😉 but she still got lots of practice in and did awesome! Got to spend lots of time with friends and family. Gage got to take a break from work and come spend a few days hunting with me. My dad and I had a great experience hunting his cow elk just the two of us and I think it’s something we will both remember forever! Especially me because on my way out to go grab packs I was alone and ran right into a bear only 30 yards away 😳 luckily my dads a smart man and gave me his pistol but the bear was just as scared and took off anyway😂 I had a great shot on a buck myself but with all the rain we lost the blood trail and couldn’t find him sadly.. but that’s archery hunting for ya! I’m still so grateful for the experience though and to have my parents and husband with me is truly a blessing! I couldn’t help myself and shot a few prairie dogs on my way home 😂 Nothing is better than being in the mountains for over a week ♥️

The boys caught lots and lots of fish and we got to eat a few while we were there😋 I did catch my first bass which was cool! so fun watching the kids grow up and learning to love lake Powell as much as we do! I don’t ever take many pictures so this is as good as it gets 😂

There is so much more than just killing animals with your bow😉 to tracking animals for miles and not knowing what you are going to find at the other end (we are experts at inspecting crime scenes by now😂), to falling in rivers while your bro in law and husband just film and laugh at you😒, going from hot and sunny to crazy hail storms, catching so many frogs you don’t even have a place to keep all of them, having insane things happen you never could have expected😳 and my most favorite is teaching the little kiddos hard work and the most precious things in life and what it’s all about! They did some hard hikes and didn’t complain one time and were so eagar to help however they could! At the end of our last hike cedar says we’re crushing it! And we sure did! The new friends and bonds we make with each other are unforgettable! Here’s to another year and many more to come! 🏹♥️

Another week on the archery hunt! 🏹First cow elk with my bow! My hubby was an expert guide and all the kiddos came for a long hike to track and find my elk with me😉 it was super fun having the majority of my family with me finding my elk! Had so many fun (and crazy🤪) experiences with all of our friends these were just the ones we got pictures of! I sure love this place😍

FAMILY WEDDING PICS😍 finally getting around to posting some wedding pics! I am so grateful for both of our amazing families who have supported us and made our wedding day so special! It’s just makes me realize how many people truly love and support us. I know I wouldn’t be who I am today to be able to marry the love of my life without all the wonderful people who have helped raise me and are still there for me and now my new husband 😉 so thank you!! And to my new family I am so grateful and blessed to have been so graciously accepted and I can’t wait for all the new adventures we get to have together and hopefully grow our family even more! Lastly I have to tell my parents how much I love and appreciate them! They have both been so supportive and loving through everything. I am most grateful for the relationship they have created with my husband. They go above and beyond! Dad, I will never forget our daddy daughter dance and how special that was for me🥹 I know it’s not the end because I got married and moved away. We have way too many adventures left to experience! I must like you a lot because I married someone a lot like you😂 Mom, you are my bestest friend and forever buddy even though you may have to share some of that time with Gage. May the best man win😉 haha I sure love you all 😘

Some more hunting pics!😉 Jaci slayed an awesome bull!! We had the time of our lives chasing elk! Then we got to help some friends with a deer tag! Ignore my annoying voice but I had to share how fun and exciting it is when you find the animal after all the stress, time and energy that goes into it! Cool experiences that you can never really explain until you do it yourself😍 The ups and downs of hunting are insane but totally worth it especially when you get to experience it with other people🤎🤍💚 congrats @missjacilynn
