POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Let’s throw it back to the end of summer when we packed out the @moxywilliamsburg for the Love & Lob Swap Meet: A curated marketplace engineered for in-person discovery during the day, followed by a night dedicated to culture, dancing, and community.

The Swap Meet had the people behind @bagelednyc, @players.nyc, @sigruntennis, @vgamateurs & @vibetennis showcase their brands & stories to guests who came to explore & shop.

Adding to the allure was @racquetmag very own Caitlin Thompson who led a discussion with panelists @jloeb308, @weltpocket, & @vibetennis on fashion, state of professional & collegiate tennis, & what it takes to start & maintain a brand.

@amirbelll held us down with some hard-hitting questions during tennis trivia, @ie.experiences with custom trading cards, @drinkwave for keeping guests hydrated, @players.nyc for hosting the mini-tennis 1-point slam, @jaywestart for creating dope IRL art pieces, & @gonewiththestitches for live towel customizations.

At night, we gathered on the rooftop overlooking the Manhattan skyline where we danced the night away to the sounds of the best DJs in charge, @andrepower & @dougmooore. We filled the space with energy & people actually dancing.

Shoutout to @sloomooinstitute for the slime, @earthcups for providing beautiful compostable cups, & @greygoose for filling those cups with free honey deuces all night.

HUGE thank you to every brand, partner, & guest who came out. We’ll be back next year, with an even bigger & better experience.

Watch the US Open Men’s Final for $25, not thousands, and help keep tennis free for kids in Brooklyn

Sixteen years ago, KCTL began with a simple mission: make tennis more accessible by providing free lessons to children living in and around Brooklyn public housing.

What started with one man, some pop-up nets, and a few volunteers now supports more than 1,000 young players across six sites through tennis and life-planning programs.

Bring friends, meet neighbors, play games, enjoy food and drinks from local sponsors, enter the raffle, and watch the match on a massive 29-foot screen.

All proceeds support KCTL’s free youth programming.

Sunday, September 13
1-7pm
70 Scott Ave BK — The Chocolate Factory

64 players. 16 teams. It all came down to one point at our inaugural NY1 Point Slam—featuring players from all across the city’s public courts. Our master of ceremonies @patkiernan handed out team trophies to @lvbl.club before awarding our big individual winner @scott_cameron35, who walked away with a @lumistar_global ball machine.

Thanks to our partners @bagelednyc and @fieldingnyc, and our generous sponsors @solinco, @lumistar_global, @lyresspiritco, and @drinkwave. And @realbriancito for the afterparty beats.
