Viva Acid Recap: Day Four +area code

House Calls closed out the weekend with heart. This collective has built something special; every one of their events feels alive. From concept to floor plan, every detail shows care and vision. They’ve carried forward what Chicago once guarded in the ’90s and made it their own for today.

We were proud to join forces and bring Juliet Mendoza from Los Angeles to headline, Miss B Haven, Dylan Gold and our own Andrew Emil finished the day with a set that felt like a celebration of everything we stand for music, movement, and community.

Saturday, October 4

Day three implementation
Gramaphone Records and CEMC started the day, then we came together at the Lincoln Park Room. Talks. Workshops. Open minds. Ideas flowed through sound.

By night, the DJs turned the room into a classroom. Legendary selectors ran it open to close, representing House, Ghetto House, Drum & Bass, and Acid.

Thanks to the moderators, venue staff, merch teams, camera crew, sound techs, and everyone who kept the current moving.

We have so many people to thank. We just wrapped four days that felt like a lifetime 85 hours of talks, music, and movement across five spaces.

Fifty speakers, moderators, and workshop hosts shared knowledge. Twenty-five DJs lifted the room. Twelve guests traveled to be part of it. Four journalists joined us. Six videographers and four audio crews captured every moment. Another fifty people held it together behind the scenes.

If you came through, we hope you left inspired. Take action and pass it forward. We’ll share some moments over the next few days.
