Just graduated! I’m so unbelievably grateful for the memories, friendships, and everything these past 13 years have given me. This chapter may be ending, but I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Another chapter of my life has come to an ending.

Soccer has always been a part of my life since i could walk. It has always been there for me when i had bad days, or just needed something to clear my mind. Soccer has created friendships that i pray will never end. It has given me opportunities (like football), friendships, teamwork, and so much more. When i moved away from my club team back home in AL i was torn apart, i convinced myself i wouldn’t be apart of another team like that (i was right). When i moved to AR, Pea Ridge didn’t have a soccer team, i was heart broken. But i joined a club team which didn’t go to well, favoritism and putting people in that never worked their ass off at practice torn my love away from the sport i once loved. I left, i said “i’m done” and believed that would be the end of soccer. Years later, (and many football games) i was told Pea Ridge was finally getting a team, i’ve never been more happy. I immediately signed up. Now this season is not how i wanted to end on but it doesn’t matter, being apart of the first women’s soccer team in Pea Ridge is very special. After tearing my ACL, i knew i was out for the rest of the season. Sitting on the sidelines watching your teammates play without you because of an injury, has to be the worst feeling. I will stand by that. But playing the games i was able to with my team has been special, especially since it’s my last year. Soccer will forever hold a big spot in my heart. Thank you for everyone who pushed me in becoming better. Thank you to my parents who showed up to all my games and told me i was enough. Thank you to my twin sister who pushed me in games when i would make mistakes or felt like i had a bad game. Thank you for my teammates who made this team possible. And lastly thank you Coach Canan for stepping in with a new group and being the best coach. I will miss this team dearly. Thank you. :)
