On a personal note, my surgery went well! ❤️ Recovery is still a work in progress, but I’m hoping to take you along for some spooky adventures around our island from the comfort of the Batmobile. 🚙👻

I’m back to the surgeon on the 28th, so we’ll see what I’m cleared to do. In the meantime, thank you SO much for all the love, kindness and support. It truly means the world! 🩷

Will you be our BOO? 👻🧡🐾

We’ve been out BOO-ing around the neighborhood, but lately it’s been more like BOO-hoo around here! 😂🎃

Our Halloween adventures have been temporarily put on paws. 🐾

I had surgery Thursday, and let’s just say recovery has been a real pain in the…
I’m on restricted food & activity for the next 2–3 weeks, which means no walking the boys or much of anything fun. Sleeping on my back, elevated, has been a nightmare… and not the spooky Halloween kind! 👻

Getting my stitches out today and hoping that’s one step closer to feeling human again. 🤞

Thankfully, my three little BOO-thangs have been absolute angels! 😇 Mimi has been staying with us, wonderful friends have stepped in to help, and Noble even has his own personal trainer… aka a Rover walker taking him on his daily 3-mile adventures! 😂

I’ve been pretty ghostly around Instagram lately, but I promise I haven’t disappeared for good! 👻

Thank you SO much for all the messages, love, check-ins and patience. I’m truly touched by your kindness. 🧡

For now, we’re keeping the Halloween spirit alive with a little BOO, a lot of love and some behind-the-scenes shenanigans!

Happy Tuesday B👻👻s-Day!

Spooky season has officially arrived on the island, and naturally these three went looking for their people. 😂

First stop: one very creepy scarecrow and three Aussies who seemed completely unfazed by him.

Rubble: seen it all.
Nugget: creepy enthusiast.
Noble: celebrating his first Halloween and apparently already questioning our traditions. 😂

Our trespassing adventures continued and we stumbled upon another perfectly spooky setup… because apparently the neighborhood has decided October is a competition and we are here for it. 👻🎃

Spooky season is our favorite, and our little island is getting creepier by the day!

A little life update: I’m having surgery Thursday, so I may be ghosting you for a couple of days. 👻😂 I’ll be on pretty strict physical restrictions for the next 2–3 weeks, so things may be a little quieter around here while I recover. 💗

But don’t worry… I’ve been busy banking some spooky content. 😉

🦇 The Batstreet Boys WILL be back — and this year they’re making their debut as a trio. 🦇

july 4th @hikingdogsofinsta hike hosted by me, @praisethe.lloyd was very successful!!! 🎉
we had perfect weather after starting early to beat the heat we really beat the sun coming out from behind the clouds, making for a great morning hike! and all the pups were still tired while fireworks were going off last night!! all the dogs became fast friends and did amazing on a high traffic trail passing by runners, hikers, and other dogs!
Cozy the tall eared gal is available to adopt through @multcopets and is in a foster home with @softlanding_foster she was a star hiker and dog social with her new friends!! proud of her!

Today feels a little extra special as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday.

We’re so grateful for this beautiful country, this wonderful little community we call home, and for all of you who have become part of our journey. Whether you’ve been here for years or just met Noble a few weeks ago, thank you for sharing the laughs, celebrating the milestones, lifting us up during the hard days, and loving these three Aussies as much as we do.

We hope your day is filled with family, friends, wagging tails, fireworks, and moments that remind you just how lucky we are.

Our patriotic photo shoot started with festive headbands.

Nugget immediately voted “absolutely not.”

Rubble, the seasoned professional, happily modeled whatever Mom put on him.

Noble… well… Noble was busy negotiating with a lizard, charming complete strangers, and later decided a husky across the street simply had to become his newest best friend. (Spoiler alert: the husky did not share his enthusiasm. 😅)

Thankfully, a sweet neighbor washing her car jumped in to help wrangle our little social butterfly while Rubble and Nugget somehow stayed exactly where they were, patiently waiting like the professionals they are.

The funniest part?

A family driving by in a golf cart stopped to watch the whole production unfold. Once we finally wrapped up, they couldn’t wait to come over and say hello to the boys.

Summer on Davis Islands🇺🇸

Assignment: Find the most patriotic house in the neighborhood.

Mission status:
✅ House located.
✅ Bandanas coordinated.
✅ Neighborhood morale boosted.

Minor complication…

Our rookie recruit, Noble, believed “patrol” meant running off every 30 seconds to inspect literally everything else.

By his third escape attempt, the homeowner came outside and asked if I needed help.

I said,
“No thanks…I’m just trespassing with a puppy.” 😂

Thankfully they laughed & went inside as I stepped on Noble’s leash 😂

The boys eventually clocked in long enough for these photos, and honestly…this house deserved a moment. 🇺🇸❤️ swipe for all its glory!

Happy Funday Sunday & Happy almost Fourth! We’re excited for all the upcoming celebrations for our 250th Birthday!!

I took these pics and just have struggled to compile a post … grief and depression sucks!! I’m still planning 2 more posts hopefully before the 4th … wish me luck. Tomorrow is 2 years since my beloved brother Rick passed and next Monday 11 years since my husband…. I truly don’t feel much like celebrating … if it’s just me and the boys I think that’s perfect!

Additionally Tuesday I’m having a vascular procedure again (thankfully outpatient on only left leg)… the reflux in my saphenous veins are causing swelling & pain I will be in a compression stocking for 2 plus weeks … in this heat … yikes!

…and then nap for three hours. 😂

Honestly, after a week of house guests, walks, swims, and puppy shenanigans, I think we all relate to slide 3.

Rubble spent his time living his best furry manatee life and testing his built-in flotation device.

Nugget conducted several important shoreline inspections and can confirm being a land shark is the bomb🦈

As for Noble…

I have approximately 47 videos of him swimming, splashing, exploring, and refusing to stay still long enough for a photo. (Check out the 4 highlighted ones!)

The little guy is becoming quite the swimmer and attacks the water with the determination of an aquatic overachiever training for the Puppy Olympics. 🏊‍♂️😂

Which explains why this ⬅️ was the only photo I got.

Just a damp little cinnamon roll 🥐who finally ran out of batteries.
