Last year was easily one of the best years of my life! From graduating high school to exploring new parts of the world to starting college, I had some of my very favorite experiences. I got to make new relationships and keep my old ones with the most beautiful people that I’m so thankful for! While 2019 was the best, it was also super busy. There was so much going on at one time and a crazy amount of changes taking place in my life. When life gets hectic, it’s easy to get stuck in the flow of things. How many moments did I miss because I was only thinking about what was ahead? Did I say things just for the sake of being heard? How many things did I do without ever really asking myself why? This year, I don’t want to just go through the motions, which led me to my word of the year: intentional. I want to be intentional with my time, my words, and my relationships. I hope I find meaning in every single moment, not just the big ones. I hope I use my words to speak life and truth to those around me, not just small talk all the time. I pray I always seek out the beauty in others and not keep it to myself when I find it! Let that person know that they are appreciated, special, and loved! I want to be the person that takes time to enjoy the small moments because isn’t that what life is sometimes? A series of seemingly insignificant words and actions usually creates the most beloved moments. I know this year will fly by just like 2019 did, so I want to find purpose in every single moment because it was handcrafted by God, the One who is intentional in all things.
A special thank you to everyone who made this past year my favorite yet, I love y’all endlessly!! 2020, I know you have so much joy ahead! I pray I don’t miss a single second.❤️
