Meet our latest guest, Baycantspin

For Bailey, it’s all about the space between house and garage. His sound leans heavily into garage and speed garage, but with clear house influences running through his productions — creating a style that sits comfortably between both worlds.

His biggest inspirations come from artists who share that same crossover. Silva Bumpa stands out for his distinctive sound and ability to perfect that house-and-garage fusion, while Soul Mass Transit System inspires Bailey through his versatility and the variety of music he consistently puts out, appealing to fans across both scenes.

When asked about his ideal collaboration, Bailey picked those two artists — a meeting of sounds that could make for something seriously special. He also highlighted Kepler and Burnski as artists who could bring that house-and-garage fusion together in a big way.

As for the rest of the year, Bailey isn’t looking to force anything. A few more shows, continuing to work on himself, and most importantly, letting the music do the talking. For him, it’s about enjoying the journey, developing his sound and allowing things to happen organically rather than chasing an outcome.

When asked about an artist to watch Bailey highlighted @800aden . Originally from London and now based in Leeds, a producer whose tracks are already gaining traction with some of the biggest artists in the scene.

We would like to thank Bailey for joining us and look forward to seeing his journey.

Comment who should be next.
