"We don’t want to belong to a group built on rigid, exacting intolerance. We want progress, open-mindedness, a holistic view of humanity and a platform of humble conviction and hope." "And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love." ‭‭2 John‬ ‭1:6‬ In society in which we live today there is so much judgement and so many opinions that shape the way we think, feel and act. We need to understand that there is a distinct difference between constructive and supportive judgement as opposed to the many negative forms we can be exposed to. Ensure that you have a core group of friends and family around you, that are going to guide and encourage you along your walk with Christ. The world in which we live is going to test your character and without the foundation of support you will quickly become lost and overcome by the world. God is the best foundation to have, leaning on His strength, wisdom and encouragement will inevitably assist you in mainting your values and ideals while the world tries to shape you into there version of you. We have been called to love, without judgement and loving with all of our heart and all of our mind. Loving without holding a grudge and living with a purpose to build the lives and confidence of those around you. Can I encourage you today, stand firm in your faith and lean not on your own understanding. God loves you and He is what you should be focussing on. Do not let your eyes wander around the earthly temptations or on societies opinions but focus on Christ and He will guide you through ✝️=💟 Can I encourage you today, what is one random act of kindness you can do today ???

I can’t tell you often my emotions have mislead me. When my thoughts were ruled by hurt, rejection or abandonment. Too often our issues with people can lead to a false view of God. We tend to look at Him through eyes of hurt and pain, believing that He somehow took part in it. I wholeheartedly believe now, that Gods intentions for us — ARE GOOD. Does this mean, we won’t experience hurt? Absolutely not! But, I can finally rest in the beautiful thought that no matter what I experience in life, Jesus holds me. Maybe even at times carries me. But the best part about this is that I’m NOT alone through the trials of life. So, when my emotions try to mislead me, I’ll hold my hands up high. Not because everything is ok, but because I believe that the One who promises to never leave me, still remains with me, even through my blurry vision and clouded judgement. I’ll hold my hands up in love. NOT only my love for Him, but His love for me that assures me — we got this — TOGETHER. My love for Him isn’t strong enough to keep me standing, but oh HIS LOVE — His LOVE is strong enough for me. And its strong enough for YOU too! I pray no matter what life throws your way, my way, that we can stand relying on His LOVE for us. #RestInHimBlog #WorshipUgly #HisLoveIsStrong

Do you ever look around and see what’s happening around you?! _____ The other day as I was looking at my children, I thought to myself how thankful I am to see where they’re at NOW. I am not only thankful for the healing in their bodies but in their lives. In my life. _____ We often look at the bigger miracles of life and focus on them, and unintentionally miss the smaller miracles of life. I was reminded of the miracles of healing in my mind and spirit. I have been healed from, anger, selfishness, pride, unwilling to forgive. I have been set free from temptation. I have been set free my old mind sets. _____ Just as my eczema is something I’m continually believing and speaking faith over myself, I must have faith in ALL things God delivers me from. A supernatural healing is AWESOME, but if I ignore these other things, in actuality I’ve missed the BIG things of my life. Because these healing are what keep me here at the feet of Jesus.👣 It’s what keeps me pushing through. It’s what compels me to share what God has done in my life, because I know without a shadow of a doubt, if God could do it for me, He can do it for 👉🏼YOU👈🏼. • What miracles is God doing in you right now? Share and give someone else hope that could be feeling what you’ve felt. #RestInHimBlog #YourStoryHisGlory #Miracles

As soon as the Christmas tree goes up every year, my morning routine shifts. All I want to do is pour a cup of coffee & linger in front of it, taking in the silence of the morning & the softness of its glow (team white lights FOREVER, you guys). I love the holidays, and knowing that Christmas is coming still fills me with the same level of joy I had when I was seven. But that's just it: I know that Christmas is coming. I've never experienced anxiety over if the 25th of December will be wiped off the calendar this year. I'm waiting with the knowledge that there's a celebration ahead. Advent's started to stir my heart in the same way. When we look at the headlines these days, it's easy to feel a dark cloud creeping over our souls. It can feel endless & hopeless. So this year, sitting in front of the tree & celebrating Advent have become synonymous to me - I'm waiting for a hope that will surely arrive on time. Because I don’t serve a powerless God, even when things seem hopeless. Below the surface, the kingdom of heaven is stirring. Chains are being broken. Darkness is being exposed to the light. Don't you see it, too? Hope is on the rise. I can't shake this feeling, that even in darkness, hope is rumbling with power. So I grabbed a few friends whose voices I trust most, & we sat down to write about it. Hope on the Rise is a daily Advent devotional that will be delivered straight from our hearts to your inbox every morning. Let’s live into hope together. That's what Advent is, after all. We wait. We expect. We hope. And he comes to save us. Want a big dose of hope in your inbox this Advent season? Click the link in my profile to sign up.
