A love letter to the women who stayed. 🥹

The women who have seen me strong…

and the women who have seen me absolutely NOT strong. 🥺

The ones who prayed.
Pulled up.
Sat on the couch.
Made me laugh.
Told me the truth.
Let me cry.
Celebrated me without competing with me.

And loved versions of me that were still figuring out how to love themselves.

thank you gals, I’ll never be the same.

I think sometimes we’re so busy praying for God to “show up” that we miss the fact that He sent a woman with a Starbucks cup, a Bible, donuts, a drill, and 17 voice notes. 😂

I’ve healed in therapy.
I’ve healed in prayer.
I’ve healed in the presence of Jesus.

AND…

I’ve healed at tables with women who made it safe to tell the truth.

We were never supposed to do all of this alone.

So today on #sisterhoodsaturday I’m thanking God for the women who stayed.

Tag a woman who has been part of your healing.

Then SEND this to her and tell her:

“Thank you for staying.”

And if you’re still looking for your people…

don’t give up on sisterhood because somebody mishandled you.

There are safe women in the world.

And I pray you find each other. 🖤

Getting ready to pour my heart into a weekend with my group of 7th-grade girls! 💕 This is, by far, one of my favorite sessions, and I’m so grateful that Tristyn gets to experience it this year.
As I prepare tonight, I’m reflecting on a reminder from Scripture that @elithurman_ shared and a special message from @ian.m.sullivan after completing my first two years with @buckheadtransit. Both have reminded me of the impact I’m making and the purpose behind the work I feel called to do.
I would appreciate all the prayers for me and these girls as we head into this weekend. My prayer is that each of them feels safe enough to lay down their burdens, release what they’ve been carrying, and surrender it all to God. May they leave this weekend feeling lighter, more loved, and reminded of who they are in Him. 🙏🏽❤️
I am truly honored to be called to this work. I know this is only the beginning of the impact I hope to make in the lives of our youth. God has placed so much on my heart, and I have so many more goals and dreams to pursue. I’m excited to see what He continues to do through me, one girl, one conversation, and one moment at a time. The seeds we plant today can change the lives of tomorrow. ✨ Big thanks to @baileysamples her hard work heading into the weekend, I just know she is gonna crush it!! ♥️

Had one of those moments yesterday where I looked up and realized I’m part of something special. Community that feels like family. A place to belong. A place to be fully seen and fully loved… while also getting roasted like a campfire marshmallow 😂

I’m really good at focusing more on what I’m missing than what I actually have. But yesterday the sun sat warm on my shoulders, the water was loud with laughter, and for once I wasn’t somewhere else in my head. I was just there. Watching cake pop stars melt in small hands. Watching friends turn into family, one pool day, one lake sunset at a time.

And I saw it clearly. Not what’s missing. What’s here.

For that, I’m forever grateful ♥️🤍💙

Let me tell you what. @baileysamples is such a force! Her journey to closing on her first home today was marked by wise decisions, knowing when to say yes and no, standing by her needs, and having a great sense of humor! She also leaned on her Heavenly Father and gift of discernment the whole time. It was my honor and pleasure to be part of the journey that led her to being a first time homeowner today! This woman of God has dedicated so much of her life to other people and families and students. It is the most incredible experience to see her work pay off for her to make this step! I’m so proud of you, Bailey! Congratulations on everything! This is just the start!!!
