Its been one of those months where I’m especially missing the Coach Jack part of Dad- to tell me to toughen up, “keep digging”, “master the material”, or “leave your feet on the ground but reach for the stars”.... (and the list goes on.) But I can’t be anything but overwhelmingly grateful for the most motivational person I’ve ever known, who probably shoved 100 years worth of inspiration into 25, and who’s words will never be forgotten.❤️ Happy Father’s Day to our Number 1!

Love is a beautiful feeling. Seeing love in action in a smile, hug, kiss, holding of the other’s hand or even simply staring into the others eye is what memories, hopes, prayers and dreams are made. Love isn’t being perfect, or needing to be perfect. Your “person” will love you regardless. Even at your best, and more importantly, at your worst. Never underestimate the love between a couple, for deep abiding love goes beyond what mere words could ever express. Those that have it, know. (Those that don’t have it, wish they did). God can do ALL things! Everything in life evolves and changes. Caterpillars become butterflies, Seeds become plants or flowers, tadpoles become frogs & so on. It’s the order of life, we are created, we learn, adapt, grow and evolve to become what God intended & hopes for us to be. Similarly our friendships and relationships evolve. Some people you discover you need in your life, then at other times you discover you no longer need them. Or they no longer serve you. In Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 we know there is a season for everything. This is the adding & removal of people from your life, adding & removal of situations and so on. It is all done to benefit YOU & what God’s plans are for your life. (You have free will to follow His guidance or go your own path)
Our lives can be described in chapters & milestones. During each you will likely experience the full spectrum of emotions. Embrace each fiercely and without fear. Enjoy each moment because what you may perceive as a terrible thing, reflecting back you might discover it was the crux of what led you to where you are today.
Elena & Mark, as you begin this next chapter in your life, especially you Mark moving from Buffalo to Dallas, remember what you both have overcome to be at this point in your lives. You may also reflect upon the possibilities in your future together as a couple, and your futures with your upcoming endeavors. You have grown as individuals and as a couple. In doing so, you have become one another’s biggest supporters and confidantes. May God continue to rain blessings upon you both.
