BIG fish don’t always require BIG gear... 🎣🔥

I decided to grab the BFS (Bait Finesse System) setup instead of my normal bass gear, tied on a @zmanfishingproducts Micro ChatterBait, and it turned into one heck of an evening! 🤘

This ultralight baitcasting combo by @tsurinoya had everything from aggressive bass trying to rip the rod out of my hands to this absolute SLAB of a crappie! A few bass even came flying out of nowhere and absolutely DEMOLISHED the chatterbait right at the bank. Those up-close eats never get old! 💥

People think BFS is only for catching little fish... but that’s far from the truth. The lighter presentation gets bites when bigger baits won’t, and every fish feels like an absolute giant on tackle this light.

Oh... and before the comment section beats you to it... yes, there’s a hole in my shorts. 😂 I didn’t notice until AFTER I took the pictures. Apparently the fish didn’t care! 🤣

Had to get out on the home water and get some revenge on the green fish after the Potomac handed me my ass this past weekend 😂🤘🏼‼️
