Date night upgrade: bake custom cakes together at Bakebe, Ontario’s first DIY co-baking studio! 🎂🧁

They make the process so easy and aesthetic, guiding you step-by-step with an iPad while providing every ingredient, tool, and decoration you need—with zero setup or cleanup on your end! Plus, the friendly staff is always right there if you need a hand

We tried the "Day Dreaming" cake ($105), which took us about 2.5 hours ⏳️

The best part? It’s inside Markville, so you can go shopping right after! 🛍️

Thanks for having us 🙏

We found a date night in Toronto where you don’t just eat dessert… you MAKE it! 👩‍🍳🎂

We visited Bakebe at CF Markville Mall and tried their DIY baking experience! You choose your creation, get all the ingredients and equipment, and follow step-by-step instructions on an iPad while making and decorating your own dessert. ✨

It’s such a fun option for a date night, friends’ day out, birthday or just something different to do in the GTA and you get to take your creation home afterward! 😋

We made a cake and ate it too 🍰✨

A little baking adventure at @bakebe_ca , complete with delicious strawberry matcha breaks, teamwork, and very necessary icing “quality control” 🤭

The review? 10/10 recommend it as a cute activity. The icing and chocolate ganache we made were honestly top notch 🙌🏼 yay us! 🧁💕

This is such a fun experience, the kitchen is super cute, everything is so well organized, and you don’t need any previous experience to bake a beautiful cake… but I highly recommend reading and following the instructions very carefully 👀

Longer video than my usual but I couldn’t make it shorter. I just absolutely HAD to show EVERYTHING that happened at @bakebe_ca because it was such an amazing, fun, and unique experience!!

This is a whole new way to bake cakes or cupcakes 🧁 Everything is there and setup for you. You get an iPad with precise instructions, even how many mixing bowls and spatulas you need. Then everything is just there for you in easy reach. And, this is the best part, someone else does all the cleanup 🙏

Also, the place is gorgeous and super instagrammable ❤️

Highly recommend for a fun parent and child day or a date or a friends night out. So fun!!

Bakebe is a hands-on baking experience that both children and parents will love! 🧁✨

We had absolutely no cake-baking experience, so the ipad instructional videos and the support from the staff made the whole process easy, fun, and stress-free.

Choose your dessert and follow easy, step-by-step instructions while Bakebe provides the ingredients, equipment, and decorating supplies needed to create your own delicious masterpiece.

✨ Here’s why it’s a great activity for kids:

🍰 Learn basic baking, measuring, and kitchen skills.

🎨 Get creative by decorating and personalizing a cake, cupcakes, or roll cake.

🤝 Practise teamwork, communication, patience, and following instructions.

💗 Spend meaningful quality time together without having to prepare everything at home.

🌟 Build confidence by completing a dessert they can feel proud of.

📸 Take adorable photos and create special family memories.

👧 Age and participant information:

Ages 6–11: Each child must be supervised one-on-one by a parent or guardian at all times. The guardian must also sign a waiver before the activity begins.

Ages 12 and over: Two participants can work together on one baking product.

A 20% peer charge applies when adding a third participant.
🎂 Stacked cakes allow a maximum of three participants.
🧁 Cupcakes and roll cakes allow a maximum of two participants.

💰 Baking experiences generally range from approximately $75 to $120, depending on the dessert selected.

Would you take your kids to Bakebe? Let me know which dessert you would choose below! 🎂

A birthday activity where we get to bake together AND I don’t have to clean up the whole kitchen after? Say less. 😂🎂

We love baking together at home, but let’s be honest… it can get MESSY. 😅 We still cleaned as we went at Bakebe, but getting to leave the big cleanup behind was definitely a nice little break for this mama. 🙌🏼

Plus, it’s SO cute in there that I got to film all the adorable birthday moments. 🥹🧁✨

If you’re looking for a fun birthday activity or family-friendly things to do in Markham, SAVE THIS SPOT!
