Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours ☺️

I think we took 100 photos, but this was the best 😆 Impossible to get everyone looking at the camera and smiling.

Anyway, so thankful for my family and all you that have supported me over the years!

Wishing you a wonderful day filled with laughter, family, friends and good food 💖

No bake pumpkin bars

I made these to bring on a road trip and shared them with others. It was a total experiment, and I thought it was a success!

Now I will tell you that they taste better frozen and the texture is better frozen too. I also cannot take credit for this recipe. It’s from @bakeit.paleo . Be sure to check out her page. Lots of yummy recipes!

If you have histamine issues, this may be a recipe to bypass, as it has dates and pumpkin spice in it. If you can tolerate dates, then you can easily substitute cardamom for the pumpkin spice.

If you’ve tried this sweet treat, leave a comment to tell me how you liked it!

Cheers to wellness!

Ohh la laa! I haven’t had soft and fluffy bread in years due to being on the #AIP . Soft tortillas, yes, but buttery soft bread rolls? No! When reintroducing foods, I noticed I can tolerate almond flour, but not eggs. I didn’t realize there were egg free, grain free recipes out there that could do all THIS magic! Yummy little dinner rolls from @bakeit.paleo that use dairy free yogurt Instead of eggs. My first attempt came out perfect! Look at that texture! Look at that golden bottom! I used @cocojune_organic “pure coconut” yogurt, and I can definitely say I’ll be enjoying every one of these ’lil babes. 🥰😋

Wait… you’re also telling me this fabulous #eggfree #paleo roll ALSO toasts like a dream?! Jackpot! I sliced it and put it in my toaster on the bagel setting, and *POOF* a nice golden crisp! Thanks again for this recipe, @bakeit.paleo

If you are on the #aip and have re-introed almond flour, but not eggs… this recipe is for you!

🥕Carrot Cassava Flour Muffins (gluten/dairy/grain free)🥕

Yum! These are naturally sweet with just a little added honey. I doubled the recipe below (I didn’t measure the carrots & I probably used a bit more but that’s okay). I’m starting to stock my freezer for when it’s too hot in NYC to turn on the oven. 🔥

INGREDIENTS
½ cup chopped raw carrots
3 large eggs
¼ cup water
2 Tbsp avocado oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup cassava flour
2 Tbsp honey
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp salt

* I added a heaping 1/3 cup raisins to my double batch.
