This project idea started almost two years ago. @elebardha reached out to me saying he got his hands on some very cool old Subaru WRC parts. He wanted me to make a replica of this S6 subframe, that at least looked the part, so he could keep the originals. The project stalled. Fast forward to last year, @bakemono reached out about doing the weld work on a S6 subframe that he had scanned. When I finally recieved the parts, I was blown away. The amount of detail and design work that he put in was something I could not do myself. I’d say this is a at least a 98% replica of the actual S6 frame. The weld time in all the layers of this thing was crazy as well as the design and machine time Bakemono has into it. I’m very pleased with how this turned out and being able to provide Ele with something I alone could not have. Being able to play with old Subaru WRC parts is something I never thought would happen, let alone recreating them. Stay tuned for more!

Finally got the @bakemono wing installed. Transmission swap is almost complete. When that’s done soon she’ll be getting some new paint.

It’s crazy the type of therapeutic relief and joy a car can give you. This is my daily driver 99 RS Impreza coupe that I restored and upgraded with parts I’ve acquired over the years of owning it. To say it’s come a long way would be an understatement, just swipe to the last video of what it’s life once looked like before I was blessed by its present beauty. This car is a true sentiment of my passion for why I enjoy building Subarus.
