Get to Know Us Series: #3a Who works at our shop? In short @baker_makes @allisonreid.neweverymorning and me. This is Eve @baker_makes , our shop manager extraordinaire. She manages the day to day running of our shop front, order fulfilments and most importantly, she helps me pick fabric to stock in our shop as I am known to be indecisive.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We met when Purple Stitches was in its infancy. Eve was running to tea room in the same place I set up our first shop nearly 8 years ago. At the beginning, Eve looked after the shop during the week when I was working full time at the hospital. Since then, Eve had closed the tea room, travelled around Asia for 6 months, returned and settled down to play with fabric instead. Currently she's on a 10-day road trip to Scotland! Eve is a avid dressmaking and she makes me jealous all the time by turning up with a new frock the next day after a new fabric delivery.

@baker_makes has made a beautiful skirt from our rayon to wear to a garden wedding early this month. Somewhere in Blue is from the Circle Line rayon by @rachelparkerdesigns for @dashwoodstudio . Swipe left to see the skirt close up. This lovely rayon together with others are still available on our website.

Postcards for the postcard swap at our November meeting - all made by our lovely talented members.

If I (Fi) have missed you in my tagging efforts let me know and I’ll add you in.

The postcards are numbered as members voted for their first choice and the maker of the card with the most votes (number 9 - bottom left) received a gift voucher to spend at @thepurplestitches. We also used the numbers for the random draw after voting.
Thanks to @rosannakp for coming up with the idea and keeping us all on track.
