😭🔥🐉 WE DID IT!!! ELEMENTAL AWAKENING IS AN AMAZON TOP 100 BESTSELLER!!!

I am absolutely losing my mind right now!!!

Elemental Awakening just hit #86 in New Adult & College Fantasy on Amazon!

Eight months ago, I published my debut fantasy novel. I had never written a book before I started this journey, and now my little world of elemental magic, dragons, ancient prophecies, and a certain green-flag Warlord has made it onto an Amazon Top 100 bestseller list.

As an indie author, this milestone means more to me than I can possibly express.
To every single person who has purchased my books, read them on Kindle Unlimited, listened to the audiobook, left a review, recommended them to a friend, or simply cheered me on: THANK YOU. ❤️

You are helping bring Lumoria to life, and I am so incredibly grateful.

And to think, we’re only two books into this adventure. 🥹

✨ Haven’t visited Lumoria yet? There’s never been a better time to meet Amara, Thane, and the dragons!

📚 Elemental Awakening and Elemental Becoming are available now on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited!

On Wednesdays, we read pink. 💕
Especially on Wednesdays in October.

A few go-to authors from my pink stack. Highly recommend these books. 📚💗

The other pink club? Zero stars. Would not recommend.
So for the love of everything, check yourself and advocate for your health. 💞✨

But back to the books—post inspired by @bakingbookdragon and her pink post.

From my favorite book boyfriends (Noah and Ran, I mean you) to delicious spice and stories that still live rent free in my head, here’s my pink stack for the month that brings awareness to the club no one wants to be in.

QOTD: Have you read any of these? 🎀

I was an unknown indie author with a story that simply would not leave me alone. You just need one YES.

It started with Gabriel Michael saying yes.

And for a little context on why that still blows my mind: Gabriel is the voice of Xaden Riorson in GraphicAudio’s dramatized adaptations of Fourth Wing and the Empyrean series. He’ll be back in the Empyrean world with Threshing Day, whose GraphicAudio dramatized adaptation releases October 13.

Then Gabriel connected me with the incredible Jessica Threet and producer Jonny Tompkins, and suddenly there were conversations about bringing Amara and Thane to life.

Then Katie Reed believed in this story enough to become my literary agent and put Elemental Awakening in front of audiobook publishers.

And Podium Entertainment said yes. Now Elemental Awakening is a 28½-hour audiobook.

And here’s something I think is important to say:
This book hasn’t broken the Top 100 in any category.

There are authors whose numbers I look at and think, God, I want that. And I also know there may be authors somewhere on their journeys who look at what is happening with my books and think the exact same thing.

It’s so easy in publishing to keep moving the marker for what counts. First you want someone to read your book. Then you want reviews. Then you want a certain number of sales. A certain ranking. A publishing deal. More readers. A bigger deal. A bestseller list.

There will almost always be another milestone you haven’t reached.

I’m ambitious. I have enormous dreams for this series, and I will never stop reaching for them.

But I also never want ambition to make me miss what is happening right now. Success doesn’t suddenly begin when a number gets big enough. Sometimes it’s one reader telling another reader, You have to read this.

To the indie author looking at someone else’s career wondering when it will finally be your turn: keep going.

Celebrate all milestones. Let yourself want more without convincing yourself that what you already have isn’t enough. I’m trying to remember to do the same. ❤️‍🔥
