I get so many patients asking about jowls- how can we get rid of this “bump” on their jawline. -

☝️ - let’s talk about How to prevent them. Actually resting them is different from 👇

Most people don’t realize there’s a muscle called the platysma that runs from your chest all the way up your neck and wraps around your lower face. And as we age, that muscle starts pulling down.

That downward pull? That’s what creates jowling.

And here’s what nobody is talking about —>

You can treat it with tox.

It’s called a jowl lift or if you really want to go for it- I also do a Nefertiti Lift. And when it’s done correctly it is one of the most underrated preventive treatments available right now.

When we relax the platysma muscle with tox, we remove that constant downward tension on the lower face. The muscles that pull up can now do their job without fighting against the ones pulling down.

The result:
✦ Softer jowling
✦ Better jawline definition
✦ A lifted lower face
✦ No filler. No surgery. No downtime.

This is not a treatment that will help everyone and it requires an injector who deeply understands facial anatomy. Placed wrong it affects swallowing and your smile.

Almost 8 years ago, I trained in London with @dr.zack.ally learning facial balancing and non-surgical rhinoplasty for the first time.
