Knowing how to train doesn’t make you immune to pain. Hours spent demonstrating exercises, coaching clients, and keeping up with your own workouts can make it challenging to give your body the attention it needs.

For this trainer, we’re addressing left hip and upper back pain by looking at more than just where it hurts. We assess how the hips, trunk, and spine move together, where movement feels limited, and how symptoms respond to different positions and loads.

The goal: build confidence in movement and the capacity to keep doing what she loves.

Most of my life I wished for a leaner, fitter body. Thinking it wasn’t in my genetics. Thinking I was doing all of the things right and my body just hated me. Working out 5-7x a week, restricting like crazy during the week, drinking “a few glasses of wine” 2-4 nights a week, my sleep and digestion were shit, my body was beyond inflamed and my cheat meals turned into cheat weekends because I had no system of tracking, I tried every fad diet or quick fix imaginable and STILL wasn’t seeing the results. It was so much easier for me to blame anything else other than myself. In 2022 I got on GLP-1 before it was even a trend (yep, I lied to most people bc I was embarrassed). I lost about 30lbs, I looked like a walking skeleton and I knew it wasn’t sustainable but I had no idea how to maintain the weight because I hadn’t actually changed anything about my diet- I was just literally starving to death bc of the medication. The moment I got off, the weight started creeping back..and I was back in the cycle of insane restrictions and binge eating on weekends. I refused to gain the weight back but literally had no idea how to make in sustainable. I decided to stop making excuses, commit to my health and invest into @metabolicmakeoveracademy. It was hands down the best decision I could have made 🙌 @balancedwith_bai has legit changed my life, my relationship with food and most importantly my relationship with myself.

All women want the fit body, 99% of them will continue making excuses and blaming their lack of commitment on anyone and anything…1% of women will commit and make the necessary changes.
