A message from the creator:

An observational documentary featuring the one and only @plaguemagazine !!! I love this staff, I love these writers, & I’m eternally grateful that we get to spend every Tuesday writing comedy together—creating a magazine that ultimately culminates into something not only worth laughing at, but remembering since 1977. The documentary is now yours. Do enjoy.

There are stories the world celebrates. Then there are the stories only four people will ever truly understand.

For more than twenty years, every decision I made was guided by one hope: to protect these three souls and give them every opportunity to become who they were meant to be; that they would one day stand confidently in the lives they were meant to live. I’ve carried one quiet prayer: Please let my children make it to the other side. Not just the other side of graduation. The other side of heartbreak. The other side of uncertainty. The other side of everything that tried to convince us we wouldn’t make it.

What people see are the milestones. What they don’t see are the moments that built them. The tears. The laughter that somehow found us in the hardest seasons. The sacrifices. The silent victories no one applauded. The conversations no one else heard. The times we questioned everything. The strength we borrowed from one another when one of us couldn’t carry it alone. The moments that shaped us when no one else was watching. The memories that belong only to us. No one truly knows what the four of us have walked through. Because… you just had to be there.

The greatest legacy I gave my children wasn’t money, a house, or a perfect life. It was a family that, despite everything, still chose one another. Watching my daughter, @balgofilms , tell this story through film, dedicated to her brother on one of the biggest days of his life, reminded me that while I was trying to raise them… they were quietly raising one another. No matter what life asked of us, we never let go of each other.
