Fell in love with the beautiful movement qualities of these @kc.ballet dancers✨ It has been an honor having @opus76quartet and @jordanlvoth playing Dvořák’s score… felt inspired every moment making MEDITATIONS🎻 4 more shows here in Kansas City!

We are thrilled to premiere Company Dancer and Choreographer Joseph Boswell’s first dance work at New Moves!🤩

“Ever since I was 16, I dreamed of choreographing a piece to music composed by my father, Samuel Boswell. I was too afraid to try until my father experienced a traumatic brain event, which made me realize how precious time is. Thankfully, he is alive and well. I wanted to make this music come to life and after listening to this music for 23 years, I could feel it in my bones. I hope you feel it too,” 💬 Joseph explains.

🌀New Moves is showing Jan. 29-Feb. 1 at the Bolender Center | 🎟️ only at KCBALLET.ORG

Nutcracker 2025! So many great memories I’ll replay forever. 💌🎄❄️☕️
Getting to debut Grandma with @balletboswell, debut Crystals with my best friend @livonpointe, having my first page bow as a professional, and debuting Arabian, with my amazing Arabian men @alladson_b, @troy_monger, @_benworkman, and @the.landen.walker, will forever be so special to me. Thank you to my party husbands @alladson_b and @troy_monger for always being the best party dates! Snow and Flowers can be tough, but they’re so special and worth it, and I’m beyond grateful I get to be out there with my girls. Going to miss our amazing Spanish cast—love y’all! Congratulations to everyone on such fantastic shows! WE DID IT!!!
