Looking back on Snow White 2026!! This performance felt extra special to me knowing that it was my third and final time performing in Snow White with @balletcenterstudios over the past 15 years. I feel so beyond grateful for all of the guidance and experience I’ve received from this rehearsal process, and how memorable every minute of it has been. So much love for this studio and everyone in it!!

A long overdue Snow White post 💙💛

This show closed out my high school dancing before I go off to OU and I couldn’t have done it without this amazing studio and all of its people. I’m eternally grateful for my teachers who have helped me get this far, and especially my friends who have always pushed me to be a better dancer. Much love to everyone ❤️

Descriptions
1) A dancer in a brown tank leotard and black skirt holds the barre with her left hand and lifts her right arm in fifth. Other dancers stand behind her at various barres, doing the same pose in écchappé second. Text: Adult Ballet Students: These 2026 Summer Intensives Are Just for You
2) Five adult women wearing leotards, ballet skirts, tights, and pointe shoes pose along a ballet barre in a dance studio. They all bend their right leg, propping their foot up onto pointe, and hold onto the barre as they look at each other and smile. Text: It may feel as though spring has sprung, but summer is just a tour jeté away.
3) Five adult ballet students in leotards, tights, and ballet slippers stand in fifth position in a large dance studio with floor-to-ceiling windows. Two dancers wear filmy ballet skirts. If you thought this being a holiday week—especially one in which it’s perfectly acceptable to go semi-comatose after eating your weight in mashed potatoes—would mean that San Diego is light on events, think again. Turkey trots and Thanksgiving–inspired suppers give way to concerts and sports, including a showdown between SDFC and the Vancouver Whitecaps. Then, you can fuel up with leftovers for festive events like the San Diego Holiday Made Market, Holiday Lights in Downtown El Cajon, and the East Village Tree Lighting & Holiday Market.
Here are a few things to look forward to this weekend:

🎄 Yo Ho Ho-liday Tavern (Gaslamp)
Pirate-themed cocktails, festive décor, live music, and Saturday night pirate performances inside Margaritaville’s LandShark Bar & Grill. Open daily, free entry.

🍽️ Sunday Supper at AVANT (Rancho Bernardo)
A three-course, post-Thanksgiving feast with butternut squash soup, herb-roasted turkey, and pumpkin pie. Reservations are $45.

🎤 LaRussell at Music Box (Little Italy)
Catch the Vallejo rapper’s Saturday show with a vinyl DJ set, live band, and choir. Tickets start at $82.

🎭 Ebenezer Scrooge’s BIG San Diego Christmas Show (Balboa Park)
A San Diego–set twist on A Christmas Carol at The Old Globe, with nightly performances and weekend matinees.

🩰 Clara & the Nutcracker Soldier (Rolando)
BalletCenter Studios reimagines The Nutcracker with an all-ages performance at the Joan B. Kroc Theatre. Shows Friday and Saturday.

🏀 Rady Children’s Invitational (USD)
Wisconsin, TCU, Providence, and Florida battle it out Thanksgiving week at Jenny Craig Pavilion. Single- and multi-day tickets available.

🎁 San Diego Holiday Made Market (Point Loma)
Shop 120+ local makers, enjoy live music, craft workshops, and food trucks at NTC Park. Kids 10 and under get in free.

Sleeping Beauty 2025!! I feel so fortunate to have been part of @balletcenterstudios Sleeping Beauty production earlier this year. This has been one of the most challenging, yet ultimately rewarding rehearsal processes, and I feel so grateful to have had such an amazing opportunity and learning experience. Missing these performances so much already, looking forward to what’s next!!
