Growing up, October was always our month. I was born on October 8th, and my Tío (my best friend) — was right behind me on October 9th. Celebrating back-to-back made every single year feel so magical. 🎉🥳

Three years later, birthdays carry a quiet ache, but my heart is overflowing with gratitude for your love of celebrating. You taught us that bringing people together is a gift.

i stopped celebrating my birthday after losing my tío two years ago. he was my absolute best friend, and with my birthday on oct 8 and his the day after oct 9, we always celebrated together.

after he left, the day just felt too quiet, too heavy, and i couldn’t find the joy in it anymore.

i genuinely thought those days of magic were behind me.

but my husband, @alfred.p.garcia and my closest friends completely surprised me. they pulled off the most incredible surprise birthday dinner. surrounding me with the exact kind of love, laughter, and community i’ve spent years missing.

sitting at that table, i realized something: i hadn’t stopped loving birthdays. i was just waiting for the right people to help bring my magic back.

to my husband and my people — thank you for giving me a core memory i’ll hold onto forever.

to anyone out there whose birthday or favorite holiday feels a little heavy lately: your people are out there, and your magic is waiting for you, too. 🩵

A long awaited key day!!! 🔑🏠

This journey included nearly 20 home tours, three cities, several offers, two escrows, and more than a few unexpected turns outside of our control.

But through patience, strategy, strong negotiation, and true partnership, we kept moving forward toward the home they really wanted.

Today, they are officially homeowners. In the perfect location for them🥳

Getting to surprise the kids with balloons and decorations in their new rooms made this key day even more special. These are the moments that make every challenge worth it.

I am incredibly proud of the team that worked behind the scenes to keep this transaction moving and find solutions at every turn. Most of all, I am grateful to my clients for trusting us, staying patient, and allowing me to advocate for their family throughout the entire journey.
