Could you tell we were born on the exact same day?! 😁 Ever since we found that out, it somehow keeps becoming more and more obvious… on and off the dance floor 😂 Always love drawing you, @seanshiggity 🫶🏼 ❔ West Coast Swing Improvisation 🏆 Pros Jack & Jill (Random Partner|Song) 👁️‍🗨️ @em_roc @seanshiggity 🎶 @kwaye 📍 @balticswing 📹 @langowska_dancevideos . . . . . #dance #westcoastswing #jackandjill #improvisation #dancelife

The squeak heard ‘round the ballroom 😂 Such a fun challenge to try and stick with one layer of sound for a whole spotlight! Jakub had to stick with lyrics and I had to stick with instruments. Definitely messed it up a bunch but anything to spark creativity can be so fun 😍 📍 @balticswing 🎥 @langowska_dancevideos 🕺 @jj.moves 💃 @alyssamarieg #westcoastswing #improv #wcs #dance

Portraits of @amasend across events As I continue to capture moments, I am realizing that getting 4+ post-worthy photos of someone in a single event is not easy, and tends to center on the most prominent faces. So, I am changing my approach to be more event-agnostic in hopes to feature more people. I don’t want to let good moments go to waste! Amadeusz is the first person who falls into this bucket. I captured a few great shots of him at @balticswing, but filed them away as “not enough for a post”. Then, I saw him again at @summernightswestival and managed to snap a couple more. This first moment, from his finals dance in the JnJ at Warsaw Summer Nights Westival, is a well-lit open-side portrait that has a strong happy expression and his arm tattoo on full display. His posture has an interesting dynamism to it. This is a crop from a landscape photo from Amadeusz’s strictly at Baltic Swing, swapping out his classic glasses for cool shades and adding a tied sweater for effect. The color palette contrasts nicely with the lit wall background. I am trying to be more personal with questions, but sometimes I am getting to know the subject at the same time. I like that Amadeusz looks at dance as an opportunity to trust, both in himself and in his partner, that they can just be. This third photo is a side profile that has a really nice light and a clean color gradient across the background, accented by the dark jeans of the follow behind him. Baltic’s lighting was a challenge, but when it worked, it really worked. Finally, a bit of an action pose - a dip. Clean, connected visually to his partner as she accents the moment. One photo from @summernightswestival, three from @balticswing - but still a visual coherence. Thanks for the moments, Amadeusz!

At first glance, nothing special… but social dancing is a huge part of my inspiration in WCS ✨ So… I’m sharing a piece of social dancing with one of my favorite humans, @mfox.dance, and I’m really happy we got to capture this little social dance moment at @balticswing It’s not a perfect dance. There are probably missed moments, and things we could do better😜 But honestly, none of that matters here. Because sometimes the most memorable dances are not the ones you win with. They’re the ones where you feel present, playful and have true fun🤍 #westcoastswing #westcoastswingdance #westcoastswingpoland modernswing

A few favorite moments from Baltic Swing. If you couldn’t make it to the Polish Riviera (Gdańsk) this summer, this is what it felt like. The weekend formula: 1️⃣ Top-tier workshops to elevate your technique. 2️⃣ High-energy dancing that packed the floor until dawn. 3️⃣ Special parties, great local food, and essential midnight soup recoveries. See it for yourself. 📹 📍 @balticswing 🎥 @langowska_dancevideos 💃🕺 @seanshiggity @alyssamarieg @zaborski.mateusz @katerynakirian_wcs @veertuss @mariasty_wcs @amasend @jem.wcs @wcsbatman @evelona98 #swaydshoes #wcs #dancelover #dancefestival #westcoastswing

The first time I drew Flo in a Jack & Jill was at my very first All Star competition. Funny enough, we never got paired up again after that - until last weekend. I think we both felt a little extra pressure, simply because we know each other so well and practice together regularly. Sometimes that can make you feel like you have to prove something. What I love most about this dance is that, despite all of that, we ended up feeling very connected to each other and to the music. And in the end, it turned out dancing together wasn’t so scary after all 🙈. Thank you, Flo! 🕺🏼 @florianhamm 💃🏼 @lotte.justlotte 🎖️ All Star JJ 📍 Baltic Swing 2026 🎥 @langowska_dancevideos 🎶 The way you make me feel (Acoustic Cover) #dance #westcoastswing #wcs #coupledance #improv

Portraits of @phaenomelina at @balticswing Melina is joy incarnate, shown especially brightly when she is hugging someone deeply - take a look at this giant smile. It pops up over and over and over again with her, so I just had to pick my favorite. She really cares about the people around her - I am trying something new here by collecting a quote from each person. This really embodies the Melina I know. A moment of mid-dance happiness here, captured during one of the prelim dances. I really like the way the red (magenta?) hair highlights pop in Melina’s photos. Leading and following, she really embodies what this dance is about - the connection, the joy, the feeling of being present. We close with a more relaxed moment, at the Baltic hotel bar. Drink in hand, listening intently to a story, hair complemented by the chair leather and contrasted by the cool light of the bar surrounding. A portrait of calm. Thank you for the moments, Melina!

Pretty proud of my aim here 😂 Dancing with @jj.moves is always a highlight of an event for me. The play, the momentum, the light-hearted approach, always is a lovely reminder of what dance should be about 💜 📍 @balticswing 🎥 @triplesteptv 🎶 Baptize #improv #westcoastswing #wcs #dance
