"Ya Allahu" means dear God. That tells you this song, for all its irresistible groove and drums that make you wanna move your feet, is a prayer. On first listen, my Ghanaian brother, the ⭐ @abonten.baby called it a manifestation anthem, and they're not wrong. Adura is the Yoruba word for prayer. At its core the song is Afro-adura, the sound from Southwest Nigeria. This one with it's own amapiano three-step influences.

It's a homage to the multifaith, multicultural Southwest Nigeria I was raised in and everything and every place that is home and reminds us of home.

A beautiful song through and through.
