Holy cow, solvitur tondendo is an Official Selection of @mspfilmsociety's 41st Minneapolis St.
Paul International Film Festival!! Catch it in-person May 5-19 at MSP Film at the Main as part of the Rainbow Lights Shorts Program! Or, snag a pass at mspfilm.org. SO many thanks to all the people who have made this short possible and to all the folks that encourage me to be me.

Five more days of Transcending Boundaries virtual access!! Transcending Boundaries is a program we’re co-sponsoring at this year’s @seattlequeerfilmfestival, presenting boundary-breaking trans shorts.

Today, we’re highlighting @willisweinstein’s Solvitur Tondendo @solviturtondendo_film (2020).

“Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith to find euphoria. This short highlights the importance of embracing the unknown.”

Use the link in our bio to learn more about the Transcending Boundaries program and the virtual access feature, and to purchase tickets. Once you reach the checkout, make sure to use our discount code TMP20!

This year’s program ends October 24, 2021. When you purchase a ticket, you will have access to the films through the Three Dollar Bill Cinema Portal. Once you hit play, you will have 72 hours to finish a film, even if you click it on the last day!

This isn’t really a flattering picture, but I have some things I want to say.

This week for me has been...hard. Being the only trans woman on an all woman staff has led me to experience something that some trans people go through called imposter syndrome. This is a feeling of not being valid in your gender. Being the only woman in the building with extremely hairy arms, fuzz on her face, and a deeper voice has been making me feel like the odd one out. My ability to “pass” as a woman is not consistent, and I’ve been wondering what people really think of me.

I saw a post from my queen @madlymadiii that tagged the @passiton.campaign, and it was exactly what I needed to see. Trans people are who they say they are regardless of what they look like. I’m still an extremely gorgeous woman despite my more “masc.” features. I’ll always be a woman, passing or not. #PassItOn
