It goes without saying that we all love a wide variety of music. And in one way or another, that always seeps through. To give you an idea of what inspired us while writing “Here’s That Feeling”, we put together a Spotify playlist.

From R.E.M. to Roc Marciano, and from Low to Laughing Hyenas, it covers a whole lot of ground. Enjoy ✨

Find the link in our bio, or just scroll down our Spotify page.

the new album “Pugnello” from @gillaband landed last week and it’s their best yet (mind you, I say that about every album they release - but I also mean it every time).

here are a few photos from a small run of shows we did together almost exactly 3 years ago - can’t wait to do it again in a couple of weeks

don’t miss them at @elsewherespace on Oct 15th - see you there

Today is the beginning of a long exhale. Today I announce There Will Be Pain, There’s Beauty Here - an album I’ve spent the better part of the 2020s living, writing, performing and recording.

@shorediverecords will be putting out the album on both CD and Vinyl. Pre-orders will be open shortly, so keep an eye out for that.

The release (and relief) will come on November 6, 2026.

There Will Be Pain, There’s Beauty Here documents my time as a songwriter and musician struggling to find an audience, and taking extreme measures to do so. Nothing about this process has been easy, but I do think this is the strongest piece of art I’ve put out into the world, and that’ll live forever.

Throughout this process I have been blessed with so many dedicated collaborators who have had to deal with the dozens of messages, long phone calls, video chats filled with my excitement, my insecurities, my pride, my doubts, and (hopefully) my passion for this project.

To the two main collaborators who helped bring this together: Alex on the sound side, and Madii (@madisonkaylynne of @sometimes__studio__), on the visual front, THANK YOU both for your steadfast dedication, your creativity and your knowledge that helped make this project a reality.

As the single releases have probably already made clear, There Will Be Pain, There’s Beauty Here has MANY featured creatives I am blessed to call my friends contribute to both the music and visual language of the album.

I keep coming back to this one.

“This city’s full of little wars…”
Little Wars is such a strange, ridiculously beautiful song. Dark, romantic, slightly sleazy and somehow incredibly tender at the same time.

I just love what Bambara do. There’s something about their songs that stays with me long after they’ve finished. They can be stupidly beautiful, ugly, romantic, unsettling and completely brilliant all at once. They’re one of those bands I really wish more people knew about of course, nobody will probably like this because most of you have probably never heard of Bambara. 😂 But that’s never stopped me before.
I just fucking love this.... 💚

'In our apartment, all your photos on the bed
You walked around in your underwear in a heat wave drunk and underfed
I grabbed a picture of a beggar in the park
On his knees at the feet of pedestrians in a crown he’d made from MetroCards
I said, “Guess times are hard for the King of New York”
You unhooked your bra, dropped it on the floor, said, “This city’s full of little wars"....'
