Best food in the world!!!

@bambooleafthai in Bradley Beach is a must stop if you like Thai food (and bonus points because it is BYOB). The drunken noodles are a MUST and dare I say I have a new fav dessert….their mango sticky rice was absolutely incredible and idk how I haven’t gotten it before. Can’t recommend enough!

Can’t believe this was our first time at @bambooleafthai, especially since it’s so close to us! 🤯

It was packed on Friday night and had a great vibe. We loved the shrimp dumplings and drunken noodles - definitely the standouts! The entrees had a nice amount of heat, which was perfect with the Thai iced teas.🧋

I can’t think of one other restaurant that every single time I go to I feel like I could get struck by a minivan after and still go happy 🪦 Bamboo Leaf in Bradley Beach IS that restaurant!! I feel like half of the time I try to go they are closed, but I was walking by and they were open so I had to impulsively go in for dinner. 10/10 always. @bambooleafthai

Local Favorites: Monmouth County, NJ 📍

This summer has looked a little different than I planned. Unfortunately, because of my endometriosis surgery tomorrow, our travels have been pretty limited. I even canceled a solo trip to Italy that was entirely planned around gluten-free food. 🇮🇹💔

The silver lining? I've been spending more time exploring some of my favorite gluten-free restaurants right here in Monmouth County. If you're local (or visiting the Jersey Shore), these are my go-to spots:

5. Kitch Organic – Red Bank (100% gluten-free!)
4. Mostly Smoked BBQ – Manalapan
3. Bamboo Thai – Bradley Beach
2. Panda Asian Fusion – Freehold (Erica, the owner, is the BEST! She truly cares about the gluten-free community.)
1. Lita – Aberdeen (My absolute favorite date night!)

Safe, delicious food is one of the best parts of traveling—but sometimes the best places are close to home. 💛

Since moving to the Jersey shore, we haven’t been able to find many good Thai spots until checking out Bamboo Leaf in Bradley Beach. We absolutely loved everything we had here, especially the drunken noodles and pad Thai! Definitely a must try if your in the area!

Here are my top 5 recs for a Girl’s Night in Monmouth County!

~ In Sea Bright ~

@brothers_daley has an incredible outdoor patio that places and elevated twist on the classic Irish bar! I love the ambience and the way that their chefs emphasize modern upgrades on nostalgic dishes, like the “Cosmic Brownie Lava Cake” (personal fave) or the “Adult Chicken Tenders” (caviar bump, anyone?). I went for the first time last weekend and I will definitely be frequenting all summer 🤗

@2ndjettyseafood is THE SPOT if your looking for that post-beach, quick respite, get cute, show up to the outdoor section sun-kissed and ready — to sip on some tajin-rimmed margs and eat fresh caught, locally inspired seafood. The tuna spoons are *chef’s kiss” and the overall scene is lively!

For something more casual, I recommend @yumiseabright - their Sushi is 💣 and I think about their tuna crispy rice wayyyy more often than I’m going to admit publicly 🤭.

~ In Bradley Beach (❤️❤️❤️) ~

@bambooleafthai is my absolute favorite and I can write a 5 paragraph essay about how much I love it - lol just go - and get the Mango Sticky Rice! This is a great location if you’re looking for a warm, expressive environment, food that comforts, and conversation. It’s BYOB, but honestly, I often prefer their non-alc drinks over bringing something of my own 🥰.

@xinarestaurant is an Asian-fusion restaurant that serves assorted Chinese influenced dishes and sushi. The environment is cleanly zen and softly lit - perfect for Instagram photos (we all want them, let’s be real!). I recommend the lobster dumplings, Kobe beef appetizer, PEC fried rice and the Cacklin’ Calamari salad (get it, trust me!) 🍣
