Have you ever heard of meat glue?
It’s an enzyme, often called transglutaminase, that’s sometimes used in food processing to bind smaller pieces of meat together so they look like a single cut.

Most people don’t realize this can happen, because it’s not something shoppers are taught to look for and labels don’t always explain the full story.

That’s why this conversation matters.
In my latest episode, I sit down with a local rancher to talk about beef processing, labeling, and what consumers are rarely told so you can make food choices with clarity, not fear.

👉 If you eat beef, listen to the full episode on YouTube. Comment meat and I will send you the link

Transparency matters especially with food. Get to know your rancher! Buy local!

Bamfmeatsplace.com has all your locally raised meats in one .
We have a regenerative farm in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. We move here 10 years ago and started with 1 cow. After 24 years as a nuclear engineer in the Navy and then at Xcel, Wade made the move to follow his passion and farm full time, we now have about 200 head of beef cattle. We also raise some hogs and chickens for our customers. We are looking to add goat and bison options through farm partnerships.

We sell 75% direct to consumers and the rest to local schools and restaurants.

We now deliver to customers within 50 miles of Cannon Falls. We serve those who want high quality healthy meats and the best value when they source proteins.

We breed and feed our animals for healthy fat marbling and nutrient density.

Not all steaks are equal, not even close, that sale ribeye is likely old, foreign, and has additives or chemicals to preserve it. It also was not cared for the way our family farm does, chances are it was from a huge Brazilian feed lot often run by corrupt organizations.

This is by far the easiest way to cook bacon, parchment paper on cookie sheet in oven at 400 for 15 minutes. Want to get fancy and try some extras season varieties and serve bacon flights with your favorite bloody mary. We did cracked pepper, old bay and cayenne vs the regular maple bacon original.

I think the cayenne and old bay was the winner.
