Enclosed within a perforated metal casing, Splashing Drop transforms illumination into a delicate composition of light and shadow. The patterned surface creates an ever-changing atmosphere, adding depth and movement to the surrounding space.

As our exhibition at Nuhad Es-Said (NES) comes to an end, we are incredibly proud of the Lebanese Pavilion that was first at the at Venice Biennale in 2025 and later in Beirut until last week.

Even though this project started over a year ago, the ECOCIDE is still ongoing Southern Lebanon and many of the exhibitors remain on the ground documenting and reporting on the devastation that is unfolding.

We want to once more thank everyone who has contributed to the Pavilion in Venice and in Beirut, we couldn’t have done it without them.

Lebanon has always existed in dialogue with the Mediterranean.
A place shaped by movement, exchange, craftsmanship, architecture, and creative circulation.

For centuries, ideas, materials, and people moved fluidly across its shores, forming a culture rooted in openness, reinterpretation, and continuity.

This year, We Design Beirut continues this dialogue through a series of exhibitions, activations, and collaborations that bring together students, emerging and established designers, artisans, architects, and cultural voices.

From preserving craft knowledge, to reinterpreting heritage through contemporary design, to reactivating historic buildings and monuments across Beirut, Edition Three explores how tradition continues to evolve through new generations and creative exchange.

لطالما وُجد لبنان في حوارٍ دائم مع البحر الأبيض المتوسط.
مكانٌ تشكّل عبر الحركة، والتبادل، والحِرف، والعمارة، والتدفّق الإبداعي.

وعلى مدى قرون، تنقّلت الأفكار، والمواد، والناس بسلاسة عبر ضفافه، لتتكوّن ثقافة قائمة على الانفتاح، وإعادة التفسير، والاستمرارية.

هذا العام، تواصل We Design Beirut هذا الحوار من خلال سلسلة من المعارض، والتجارب، والتعاونات التي تجمع الطلاب، والمصممين الناشئين والمخضرمين، والحرفيين، والمعماريين، والأصوات الثقافية.

@doyouloveme.film Has traveled 🧳 further than I ever imagined 🪐 @filmlinc @themuseumofmodernart @jeudepaumeparis with current cinema releases in France, and Germany soon followed by the US, as well as festival screenings in so many countries.

We even had the Lebanon release 🇱🇧 despite the on-going war. 💌♾️🙏🏻
