There’s a change in the air this time of year - more felt than it is seen. A pull to get back to steady ground.

The movement we seek to match this shift in energy is so important. It’s not the hardest or the fastest. It’s the staying in the work, showing up and finding the rhythm. Letting the body do the work, breath by breath.

That’s most of what we do here at Lagom year round. Meet the body where it is, and build from a place that sustains us through life’s changes.

If you’ve been away from a wellness or movement routine that feels supportive, our doors are open to welcome you back.

The September schedule is up. If you’re near Locust Valley, come move with us. Whether it’s been a while or it’s your first time, we’d love to have you.

Spontaneous film shots with @adam11stein last month 🎞️ You’d never guess my left arm was still broken in these pics 😅

Thankful my arm healed quickly, and I’m finally back to lifting heavy 🙌🏼 Injuries suck, but they’ve also reminded me to be grateful for the ability to move my body and to appreciate exercise as a privilege, not a chore 💪🏼

Every class starts the same way: a welcome at the door, and a minute to arrive - in the space, and in your body.

Then we get on the rebounder.

Here’s what a typical Rebounding class looks like 👉 We settle first: breath before movement. Then we start to bounce: cardio that lifts your heart rate without asking anything extra of your joints. We build from there. Some of it is rhythmic, almost like dancing, while some of it is strength, using props or sometimes nothing but your own body weight. Then we finish slow, back down to the breath we started with.

No two of these classes have ever been the same. Same room, same rebounder, but a different hour spent together every time, depending on who walks in and what they’re carrying.

And who walks in is everyone. We see faces ranging from sixteen to seventy-two, and every age in between. Rebounding meets all of them right where they are.

However you arrive, you can expect to leave feeling better than when you came. That part doesn’t change.

Come see for yourself.
