Behind the camera, Hwang In-yeop keeps a quiet distance from the cool-exterior, warm-interior characters he so often plays. From his modeling days to the actor he is now, he says the clearest shift has been in the way he uses his eyes. In this exclusive GQ Hong Kong shoot, he carries the frame alone — revealing a steady presence shaped by years of quiet growth and hard-won authenticity.

The one tool that helps Seo Kang Jun create is a pen. “I write, erase, cross things out, and sometimes even crumple up and throw away certain pages. Then, I take the convincing ideas and notes that remain and transfer them into my script.” For him, the process of writing mirrors the journey of building a character—deliberate, and ultimately transformative.

Repost • @gqsingapore Call it range: Xu Minghao (THE 8) moves effortlessly between styles, silhouettes and sartorial moods.

“With clothes, the more you try things, the more you understand what suits you and how to express your attitude in different settings,” he says.
