We came for the chicken… and accidentally found our new favorite lemonade. 😂 We finally made it over to Chicken or the Egg, and now we understand why people keep talking about it. Everything was fresh, made to order, and packed with flavor. Then we found out they’re collaborating with BIT Coffee, so we had to try one of their drinks. The cucumber pineapple lemonade with Tajín absolutely lived up to the hype. Crisp, refreshing, sweet, tangy, and just the right amount of Tajín. It paired perfectly with the food. The owner kept us laughing the whole time, the food was outstanding, and BIT Coffee is serving drinks that are every bit as impressive. If you’re looking for a local spot that’s doing things right, this collaboration is worth checking out.

If you’re looking for a solid lunch in Santa Fe, go check out Chicken or the Egg at Santa Fe Brewing Company. The owner is also behind Bank Bite, and it definitely shows. Fresh ingredients, big flavors, and every bite was seriously delicious. They’re currently running a $10 lunch special, so now’s the perfect time to give them a try. Our lunch was absolutely amazing, and we’ll definitely be back.

Don't miss this new gem of a food truck, Chicken or the Egg, from my friend Enrique of Bang Bite! Breakfast & lunch M-F, with all varieties of egg & chicken sandwiches. I tried both the hottie fried chicken & pulled chicken in bbq sauce. They normally come with sweet potato fries. Soon, he'll offer his killer green chile hushpuppies too which, if you can't wait, are in my potluck article in the current Table Magazine.

On St. Francis, north of San Mateo on east side, beside Carla's BitCoffee stand (which is my fave drive-through latte spot). A very welcome addition to the food truck scene.

Santa Fe has a hot new food truck to add to your must-try list. 🍗

From Enrique, the owner of @bang_bite comes his newest venture: Chicken or the Egg.

We tried:
🌶️ The Hottie Chick
🍳 The Chick’n or the Egg
🍍 The Al Pastor Chick Burger

Everything is made from scratch, from the handmade Japanese milk buns to their secret recipe fried chicken. Lunch is served with fries and house-made dipping sauces (sweet potato fries are coming soon!), while breakfast comes with tots.

Pair your meal with a coffee from neighboring Bit Coffee and enjoy it at the covered picnic tables behind the food truck, a comfortable spot tucked away from the traffic.

If you’re looking for one of Santa Fe’s newest breakfast and lunch spots, this one deserves a spot on your list.
