Bicycles have always played a big role in my life, so imagine my delight at getting to ride the BANG Bike, equipped with a projector, a boombox and lots of flashing lights. I’ve always wanted to create mobile digital graffiti, and the BANG Awards Festival in Torres Vedras gave me the perfect opportunity. Children played in the light, people danced. It was magical.

A highlight of my trip was finally meeting the Tagtool maestro Rimiyoho in person and collaborating live on the highly topical theme of Youmanization.

As a judge at the film festival, I was able to watch dozens of superb short animations. The quality of the films was exceptionally high, and the competition was hotly contested. Congratulations to all who participated.

A huge thank you to the festival organisers for their outstanding organisation, and to all the volunteers, especially @brunabeatrri, Moon and Pedro, for taking pictures and assisting me throughout.

Honoured to be returning to BANG Festival this year, both as a judge and as a performer.

I’m especially excited to be performing with the mythical Tagtool artist Rimiyoho and finally getting a chance to make digital graffiti on the Bang Bike.

And, as always, I’m looking forward to meeting the extraordinary mix of artists, animators and creatives that BANG brings together from around the world, and, of course, catching up with old friends.

See you at BANG! 🔥#tagtool #animation #bangfestival #live #digitalgraffiti
