🌟 Michigan Chefs, restaurateurs and businesses — this is your chance to make change! Contact your legislators and urge them to support the FLOC bill.

Paid leave isn’t just for employees—it’s a game-changer for employers too! Small businesses can’t afford to bare the full cost of paid leave for their staff, but through the FLOC bill, employers will not only be able to do right by their staff, but also get the much needed support to do it!

Not only will small businesses be able to better retain talent rather than lose people who need to take time off to care for loved ones or their own medical needs, but a sure fire way to recruit and retain more women in the talent pipeline who want design because of family planning.

Together, we can drive meaningful change for Michigan families and businesses! 💪 please call and email your legislators telling them you support this bill!

Our Co-Chair of Asian Outreach, Jacob Molewyk @cdawcc529, visited Detroit’s Chinatown this evening and checked out the @detroit_shipping company and got a Thai iced tea from @bangkok96! There are other businesses in the neighborhood including @minus320 @thepeterboro @momocha_detroit @halalstreetdetroit @mmmotordetroit. Sometimes @chifanle.chifanle does popups at @8dplatodetroit.

Detroit’s second Chinatown at Cass and Peterboro is starting to see a resurgence in Asian food! Exciting! Please DM us if interested in getting more involved with our project! #chinatown #detroit #chinatowndetroit #detroitchinatown #detroitshippingcompany
