Meet Nicki! 💛

After years of struggling with severe pain, migraines, and unexplained symptoms, Nicki discovered she had endometriosis in 2015 after what was meant to be a routine hernia repair. 🌼

She joined the circle because having a community of people who understand endometriosis is crucial to her mental health. She hopes to remind others that a hysterectomy or having a baby is not a cure for endometriosis and that ongoing care is so important. 💛

We’re so happy to have you in the circle, Nicki! 🌻💛

Saturday’s Endometriosis Care Continuum event was pure magic. Having my husband holding space, my best friend by my side, our amazing support group girls, and leading endo specialists all together in one place meant the absolute world to me.

This disease tries to take so much, but it will NEVER take our community, our strength, or our hope. 🧬✨

This exact ecosystem of love and expert medical care is why Endo Haven exists. We take the stress off your shoulders by vetting specialists, mapping out your treatment plans, and standing right beside you every step of the way.

Forever grateful for my people and this mission. Ready to map out your own path to proper care?

Tap the link in my bio—let’s do this together! 💛

Today was one of those days that reminded me why being heard, believed, and understood matters so much. 💛💐

The Endometriosis Care Continuum brought together patients, providers, specialists, advocates, and people who understand just how complicated living with endometriosis can be.

I left with so many notes, questions, and things I want to continue learning about — but more than anything, I left feeling less alone.

From the importance of asking one more question, to looking at the whole person, to understanding that endometriosis can look so different from one person to another — there was so much to take in.

The patient panel especially stayed with me. There were tears, laughter, frustration, validation, and understanding. Sometimes you don’t need someone to have all the answers. Sometimes you just need someone to say, “I believe you. Let’s figure this out together.”

Thank you to ELYSARA Medical & Wellness for creating a space where these conversations could happen and for bringing so many different voices into the same room.

And ending the day with “Fight Song” was the perfect reminder of why we keep showing up.

You are not alone. Your experience matters. Keep asking questions. #EndometriosisAwareness #EndometriosisCommunity #EndoWarrior #ChronicIllnessAwareness #EndometriosisSupport

This article really made me stop and think. The headline specifically says “disability,” and that’s what initially made me stop scrolling. I think there’s an important conversation to have about the difference between disability visibility, advocacy, awareness, and influencing.

There’s a huge difference between sharing your life with chronic illness to raise awareness and turning illness into a “lifestyle trend.”

I share my experience with endometriosis and chronic illness because I know how isolating it can feel to not have answers, to have your symptoms dismissed, or to look around and wonder if anyone else understands what you’re going through.

I share the appointments, the good days, the bad days, the things I’ve learned, and the things I’m still trying to figure out—not because being sick is “cool,” but because silence doesn’t create awareness.

And yes, social media can become a space where people make content, build communities, and even earn money. But that doesn’t automatically erase the reason someone started sharing their story in the first place.

Awareness is not the same as influence. Advocacy is not the same as glamorizing. And having a disability is not a trend.

If sharing my story helps even one person feel believed, less alone, or more confident advocating for themselves, then I’ll keep sharing.

We shouldn’t have to hide our struggles just to prove they’re real.

The girls that get it 🫶🏼💕 Endo girls lunch, good food, even better company, and the kind of understanding you don’t have to explain. 🌸✨

P.S. best gluten-free French toast I’ve EVER had 😍🍓

Our second Endo Sisterhood event was a Bloom Bar night 🌻 We made our own flower bouquets, enjoyed gluten-free snacks, and spent the evening talking, laughing, and just being around people who truly understand this journey.

I had a silly thought one day to make a group chat on Instagram for Long Island girls with endometriosis so we could support each other… and tonight was our first meetup. 🤍

What started as strangers online turned into hugs, conversations, understanding, and the comfort of being around people who truly get it. Some girls pictured, some aren’t, but I’m beyond grateful for every single woman who showed up tonight and for the community that’s slowly growing around something none of us ever asked for. Thank you @leemarie_x0 for bringing the events back🤍

It’s unfortunate that this community keeps growing because no woman should have to go through this, but I’m so thankful we have each other for the late night texts, the hard days, the doctor frustrations, the wins, and the reminders that none of us are alone in this anymore.

Healing looks a little less lonely when you have people beside you who understand. 🤍🎗️
