Shhh…I hear banjos. Cue the jokes, but seriously, the banjo museum in Oklahoma City is awesome. It’s very well done and the people were super friendly. #banjomuseum #ihearbanjos #banjos

#twofortuesday Here are a pair of Dock Walsh records, released by @columbiarecords in 1925-1926. I picked these up for a dollar apiece at #shellakron last month. Walsh was a founding member of the Carolina Tar Heels, along with Clarence Ashley. He was known as "The Banjo King of the Carolinas," playing both clawhammer and old-time three-finger styles. #oldtimebanjo #78rpmcollection #78rpmcommunity

Today we honor the incredible creator of Clawgrass, Mr. Mark Johnson following his induction into the @banjomuseum Hall of Fame this weekend.

Mark is a special human, with a remarkable talent and an unwavering passion for putting banjos in people's hands for the first time.

We are so incredibly proud of Mark and all his achievements. Also in attendance were Greg and Janet Deering who lived being able to share this special evening.

Congratulations @clawgrass55!
