Design is your Hook — but how deep does that hook go?

At our last Baithak, we explored the love-hate relationship between design and marketing — where one sets the tone, and the other tries to sell it.

Design can function independently, but marketing can’t function without design.
Because every message needs a shape before it becomes a story.

We also asked: what even makes “good” design?
It’s not just about tools, trends, or typography — it’s about taste.
And to understand taste, you have to understand history — the context that shaped how we see, feel, and create.

A big shoutout to Saman Bashir (CMO, Johnny & Jugnu) and Taha “Kroozi” (Founder, ONIT Agency) for leading this conversation and to GroWork for being the space where ideas come to life.

“It’s not liberation — it’s entitlement.”

When “open-minded” hits your DMs with “My wife approves,” it’s not progressive. It’s predatory.

When the world burns, do you stay silent or stand up?

This piece reflects on Nietzsche’s Sklavenmoral and the Islamic concept of sabr — unpacking whether patience is a passive virtue or a powerful form of resistance.

In an age of war, injustice, and constant noise, what does true strength look like?

Ever feel like your personality is just a playlist of what the algorithm told you to like?

From desires shaped by For You Pages to identities built on aesthetics we didn’t choose. This piece dives into how the digital age turns who we are into just another marketable trend.

"Tu Jahan Mein Wahin Jata Raha" – Feb 23rd, 2025

Life is a chase. Some run after dreams, some after people, some after something they can’t even name. But when you know what you’re chasing, when you’re certain, it doesn’t feel like a burden. It becomes purpose.

This song is about that certainty. About someone who no longer cares what the "Dunya" thinks. He’s struggling, but he’s sure. And soon, he’ll have what he’s fighting for.

This Sunday, catch the release. Streaming everywhere!

Stay tuned!

Chapter 2?

Yes. It’s happening. This Sunday.

Another chapter of my story. One that’s raw, real, and straight from the heart.

Chasing dreams? Someone special? Or maybe something unspoken...

If you've ever felt it, this one's for you.

Stay tuned.
