Fun @animeexpo outing thanks to @webtoonofficial & @kocca_official! Really appreciated the invite for @monsterforgeproductions (& how cool was it to hear from Warner Bros animation as well at the event). Saw lots of awesome familiar faces & met a ton of new ones. Here’s to Korea, comics & the worldwide community making and supporting them! Also got behind a sweet bus decorated up for my man @spiderman! #webtoons #comics #losangeles #korea #animation

AI Myth Busters: How To Empower Artists And Storytellers With New Creative Tools.

In an era of tighter budgets and tougher financing, AI tools can be a solid creative assist- saving time, stretching resources, and opening up some wild new possibilities.

This session brought together artists using AI in smart, ethical ways- from concept to production- to show how it can support the story and elevate the craft (no robots stealing your sketchbook).

We also dug into copyright, policy, and best practices, with real-world insights and takeaways you can actually use in your own work.

Thanks to the panelists: Eric Oldrin/@oldrin (Studio Nirdlo), Kyle Jolly/@kylejollyrules (Scriptsee), Larry Cutler/@baobabstudios (Baobab Studios), Evan Spiridellis/@espiridellis (Spiridellis Bros Studios), and moderator Justine Bannister/@justinebannister (International Animation Strategist and Creative Facilitator/Just B).

That’s a wrap on West Coast Trip 2026!

Our students learned about preserving and reviving video game history at @digitaleclipsestudios, turning the world of sports into games at @ea, creating interactive films and games at @baobabstudios, designing creative campaigns and experiences for brands with @ideo, and how big tech projects work at places like @meta!

After 5 days of (truly) nonstop travel, our first-year students fly back to Pittsburgh to get ready for their first semester working on project teams ✈️

Thank you to all the alums who showed up in both LA and SF, and thank you to every company who hosted us! It was an amazing trip, and that’s because of you. We can’t thank you enough. ❤️
