We had us a time yesterday morning as Springsteen On Sunday on @1071theboss rocked the house at @baranticipation ! Thanks to EVEYONE who packed the house and rocked it with us. It was great to have Shore legend @sonny_kenn on the show for the first time (and it’s wonderful that he’s relocated to the area). @loperdog is the first-ever guest that I had on the show in February 2004, and he’s always a welcome addition. They’ll both be part of the big @chuck.berry.568 post-symposium concert this Saturday with the @springsteencenter at the Pollak Theatre that will feature some very special guests. Still some tickets left at https://backstage.springsteencenter.org/670/671?queueittoken=e_genadmis2026~ts_1791206179~ce_true~rt_safetynet~h_2b20a2b84b426238e66fef2f3503047ef7c845d2f65d6ff059ba7423c7d9e58b

Thanks to @the_stone_pony ‘s @kyle.brendle for joining the fun, and it was cool to have Patricia Slocum tell us about her experience meeting @springsteen outside the 107.1 The Boss studios in August. Mega thanks to the amazing folks at Bar A, not to mention Boss Roadies James & Ryan AND @hfarman1 for manning the studio!! Thanks too to @paparipskyphotography

We’re back in Lake Como in 7 weeks 😀 with @jakethistlemusic and our friends from @fulfill_nj . As always, thanks for listening!!

This morning Springsteen On Sunday on @1071theboss is back at @baranticipation in Lake Como! I’m looking forward to having both @sonny_kenn and Vini @loperdog (aka Maddog aka Loper) in the house. They’ll be performing a couple of songs in the 10 o/clock hour, including a very appropriate @springsteen cover.

Bruce’s (for all practical purposes) solo album “Tunnel Of Love” arrived this week in 1987. Seasonally speaking, I always equate the album with fall and can’t wait to find out if it’s a “dark ride” or not. It’s First Sunday and so great to have something from “The Rising” tour via @nugsnet and the Live Springsteen archive series. The show in Barcelona on 10/16/02 was released on DVD a year later, and the audio upgrade jumps right out of the speakers and we’ll go there for sure.

The Bar A crew is on their game and their Sunday morning breakfast covers all bases, from sandwiches to platters, with all platter orders coming with a complimentary Mimosa or Bloody Mary or soft drink of choice. Someone in the house will score a 4-pack of Six Flags/Great Adventure Fright Fest tickets. Tis the season!

Springsteen On Sunday is sponsored by Plumbers & Pipefitters Local #9 of Central New Jersey.

9 eastern on 107.1 FM at the Jersey Shore (plus in Southern Ocean County and points south on the turbo-charged 99.7) and go here for all ways and shapes and forms of listening options: https://1071theboss.com/apps-streaming

I’m excited to have Jersey Shore legend @sonny_kenn on @springsteen On Sunday for the first time tomorrow morning live at @baranticipation on @1071theboss ! I’m equally excited to have Jersey Shore legend Vini Lopez back on the show tomorrow morning live at Bar A! The history that these guys have together is unparalleled, dating back to the mid-1960’s. Sonny is bringing a guitar and Vini is bringing a drum. You’re invited!

Of course, Bar A has you covered with a great breakfast menu and their excellent service. Come hang with us.
