Dans le pelage, les regards, les formes du vivant, des visages apparaissent. Ils ne sont pas imaginaires : ils étaient déjà là, patients, attendant simplement qu’on les voie. La nature a mille visages… et chacun nous observe. In fur, gazes, and living shapes, faces slowly emerge. They are not imagined — they were already there, waiting, asking only to be seen. Nature has a thousand faces… and each one watches us. #visagesanimaux #animalfaces #pareidolia symmetryart hiddenfaces facesinnature naturemystique wildpoetry sacrednature livingearth animalspirit naturevision ecologicalart

Still so much is unknown about the rainforest of the Congo basin. Repost 📸 @barbadillo_javier on these mating Agama lizards… ・・・ Mating in Agama sp. Dzanga Shanga National Park, Central African Republic. In the absence of more detailed taxonomic studies, the species inhabiting the park is provisionally assigned, with many reservations, to the nominal species Agama agama. However, we don’t know for how long. #javierbarbadillo #rainforesteye #Agamaagama #Agama #reptiles #reptilesofafrica #mating #cópula #dzangashanga #herpetologia #herpetology #herping #africanwildlife #herpetofauna #herpingafrica #republiquecentroafricaine #rainforest #jungle #africanjungle #africanrainforest #congobasin #herpingafrica #congorainforest #forêttropicale #forettropicale #herpetologia #lizardsofinstagram #lizards #reptiles #protecttherainforest

Surprise up close animal encounters in the heart of the forest are always the most special. Repost photographer 📸@barbadillo_javier on encountering a lone Bongo… ・・・ An unforgettable encounter. On the way to Bai Hoku, in Dzanga Sangha National Park, this magnificent bongo (Tragelaphus eurycerus) suddenly appeared. The bongo is the largest antelope in the African rainforests, and the third largest on the continent, reaching up to 400 kg in weight. Even so, it is extremely difficult to observe in the wild, as it inhabits areas of very dense vegetation. Therefore, the few sightings tend to concentrate in the bais, or cleared areas within tropical rainforests, where they come to collect mineral salts. For all these reasons, the sighting of it in the heart of the forest made this encounter special and unforgettable. #bongo #antilope #bongoantelope #tragelaphuseurycerus #mammalsofafrica #dzangashanga #centralafricanrepublic #republiquecentroafricaine #rainforest #jungle #africanrainforest #africanjungle #tropicalforest #rainforestanimals #wildlife #africawildlife #africanature #wildlifephotography #wildlifephotographer #africanwildlife #congobasin #congorainforest #rainforesteye #mammals #mamiferos #protecttherainforest #natureperfection #naturephotographer
