All this because I decided to sell a few plates of jerk chicken.😅
Somewhere along the way, cooking became so much more than a way to make a living.

Being a chef has challenged me, humbled me, exhausted me, inspired me, taken me around the world and introduced me to people I never imagined I’d meet.

I’ve cooked in tiny kitchens, beautiful homes, luxury estates, festival grounds and places where I had to figure out how to make the impossible happen with whatever I had in front of me.

I’ve had incredible wins and some very expensive lessons. But the thing I love most about being a chef has never changed.

It’s the ability to take ingredients, imagination and a little bit of love and turn them into something that brings people together.

Food has given me a career, but hospitality has given me a purpose. And while my ambitions have grown far beyond the kitchen, I’ll always be a chef first.

Happy International Chefs Day to everyone who’s ever burned themselves, cried in a walk-in, worked through a holiday, fed a room full of strangers and still found a reason to love this crazy profession.

From $10 plates to wherever this journey takes me next. I’m just getting started. 💋
